My top 3 Colin McRae moments (in no specific order): 1. Colin rolled his car at the X-Games and then only lost by less than a second, apparently you can see him shifting down to first as the car rolls... 2. He crashed and rolled the car, they were upside down for about 5-10 minutes apparently. When they got to the crash his biggest injury was that his face was covered in blood, from a nosebleed caused being upside down for too long. 3. He was infuriated that he had lost a lot of time in a stage, so he started driving so insanely that his co-driver stopped reading notes and started vomiting.

Good to see you back in DR, I actually found your channel because of the Dirt Rally career play through a couple of years ago or so. Keep up the good work :)

I've been playing DiRT Rally for a few weeks now and can finally complete the stages mostly from memory. One thing I did notice though is that the hardest difficultly is not much harder than the easiest difficulty (I also started using MT over AT at the same time, maybe that affects AI difficultly somehow too?) Man I love this game though. I'm using a half broken PS4 controller on PC so I had to rebind some controls - I use the right analog stick for gas, brake and shifting gears, and L2 for clutch, R1 for handbrake. I reckon having a wheel with FFB would be so much easier. As it is, I never really know where the front wheels are so have to guess. Also, my left analog stick has a slight offset to the left so I had to add some dead-zone in the control settings to negate slight tilt. Otherwise, it's a great game and the stages are designed to allow you to really optimise your line if your pace is correctly set. Gonna get a wheel one day and perhaps build a rig out of cheap tube steel. Then the fun will really begin

I have never seen anybody being this excited "playing a game." Amazing foot work and how you throw heel/toe in there now and then. It's great to see how you move in your seat and even hold your breath going over a crest, lol. Enjoyed your drive a lot. There are not many channels delivering that kind of quality. Thank you 👍

Have you strained your shoulder or anything racing infront of your computer? I did my shoulder back when Dirt Rally was fairly new, still feel it to this day, it never got quite the same after that. Had FFB set real high and was taking a 90 degree turn in Greece, and well, strained my shoulder pretty bad. 8 months before it was good again.

Anybody having a good Setup for the Thrustmaster T150 RS? I can't get it to work correctly. It either steers very late or extremely early.

Vive is finally working again with the Revive work around. Dirt is so much better in VR.

What are your ffb settings here? It looks really light which is what I go for in DR because you need that rotational speed, but I'd try something else if you're working it harder. Also curious about the ratio. I put it at about 70% so fast-ish

As a huge DiRT Rally fan with 100's of hours in game I have branched out into F1 2017 recently. The most difficult thing in F1 is not hitting other people... lol. I'm used to just bombing off some mountain road, alone :)

When I drove this car the first time on dirt rally it understeered horribly... The center differential was at 40% to the rear. I set it all the way back to 65% to the rear and messed with the anti-roll bars and it still kind of understeers. How do you get it to handle so nicely?

Jimmer, I'm seriously considering buying the Oculus Rift solely to sim race. I'm thinking about using it in iRacing, AC and pCARS. My PC is solid, good enough to pull the framerates to run the VR. Would you say it's money well spent for someone who never tried VR?

What's your setup for this car, I've been struggling with this one since I can remember especially the gear ratios

I find Master difficulty in Dirt Rally is only competitive if you leave the cars with the baseline setup. As soon as you start making positive setup changes, you can easily outpace the AI. It’s kind of weird haha

You should join the crest auto sport sim rally championship for dirt rally, there’s a Facebook page and there is some super fast guys but it’s spilt into super, pro and amateur so everybody can race. If you did a weekly video on it that would be awesome to watch.

Defiantly still the best representation of Rally. Dirt is king.

I think better way of watching rally sim video is to just listen the co driver. I think rally does not need any further comments. For me commentating that is actually a bit disturbing.I also can not understand how it is possible to do 2 things at the same time:D On Sweden stages I am crashing into snow bank all the time. But Jimmy.. It looks too easy to be true. He allways has plenty of time to speak about houndred other things. I respect all the content and it is amazing to watch but next time could it be only the pure rally experience and no talking while driving?

I really wish they would have let dirt rally 2.0 be done the same as one with a tiny team and low budget on steam ea the fact they are pouring money and have the whole team on it just means it has to be that much more profitable and hence appeal to a wider market. They need to let the rally series be it’s own thing focusing on sim and dirt be kinda like a forza series focusing on consoles. To me at least none of the game play so far has even looked fun. You can watch people play the first and almost have as much fun as playing and then remove vr instead of expanding on it... kunos and acc are our only bright spot in 2019
