I hope you found the answer in the meantime, but here goes: It's a Korean version of the Buddhist Prajnaparamita sutra.

>>And what did the letters say? I never got the translation. Letters say close, it's a method in buddism and other religions to close all holes in the body, except Brahma hole on the top of your head, from where your consciousness will leave your body. If other holes ae not closed, then it can leave body from one of those holes and be reborn in samsara realms.

Something tells me that the boy misunderstood the original teaching. It's a recurring theme throughout the film.

Painful and horrible to watch and know that animals WERE harmed in the making of this film. The ends do NOT justify the means of teaching about karma. The consequences of this cruel boy's actions could have been implied rather than shown. It is unethical to do the thing that harms while attempting to teach not to harm. That is quite simply hypocritical. The Chinese culture is very cruel to animals in general in contradiction to their Buddhist teachings, the foremost being "do no harm".

very true.......also the scene is quite unrealistic.....people who are insensitive to other creatures' sufferings (like that child in this scene) cannot change in a day and become opposite even when being guided or taught by someone

@@mishuccet1 He was confronted with the consequences of his actions, and realized the pain he had caused the animals. being a child he 'wasn't aware of what would happen. This is an important life lesson.
