Sanctuary episode's tribute season 2:
Dorothy Jennings story. What's Love Got to do with It, the national Anthem song for strong women who got out of abusive relationship and reinvented themselves, as Tina Turner did as I tried to illustrated in this video as Dorothy Jennings did.
I hope you guys enjoy it.

Tessa,The only thing controversial about your theme is that it is current. It isn’t something that just happened in the past. It will continue into the future if the mind’s of both men and women aren’t changed.Dorothy’s experience with abuse dealt with societal norms of that time. Women didn’t work outside of the home and were dependent on their husbands for everything. Women were considered as chattel and or children. As Jake said ,what did you do to deserve the beatings. Really? Sully said ,she didn’t fall of a horse because she was beaten.Right away,Micheala told Coleen not to ever let a boy or man hit her. Micheala was also able to explain that it wasn’t about finances because wealthy women came to her father’s practice beaten but supposedly were careless and fell down stairs. Tina /Turner not only sang the lyrics but live them. Ike Turner was extremely physically abusive to her.She was saying that you don’t necessarily stay because you are in love but you become use to the abuse because you believe the lies until you learned better. The video is appropriate, relevant and necessary. It is not intended as entertainment but a life lesson that is presented. Well done.❤️👏🏾👏🏾👏🏾One more point and my opinion, when some people purposedly misinterpret Scripture to support their erroneous practices, this is what happens. It was used to wrongly justify slavery also and I will just leave that here.

I know it's probably aren't going to be popular, but I if if could help someone make then recognize the pattern then it was worth it. I couldn't fit much in a 5 mins video so I had to focus on Dorothy, but i like the 2 stories they were telling in the episodes in one site we are the civilize people right, and listen to Jake and Hank's mentality, on the other site Cloud Dancing the savage right, sent an horse to get is wife back, he didn't go beat her up. So, who were the civilize people and who were the savages in the story. Sadly, today it's even worse we have music who demine women, who bring us back to the cave man, this is awful. That's why I like to emphasize the messages that quality show like the Dr/ Quinn sent, remind women to fight and respect themselves. I really loved how the episode ended.

@@tessakendallmckenzie4539 Tessa,Remember a line from the episode Orphan Train ,Sully said if just wanted to get married you have the right man meaning the Rev. I said that to say this,if you had wanted to entertain with a light message ,you would have but that is not what you wanted to do with this video .Your theme as I saw it,was to educate regarding a problem that exist today which was highlighted in this episode. It occurred hundreds of years ago and now. The song and lyrics were perfect because as I said Tina Turner sang them and lived them. Many people view and enjoy your videos. You are being informative in this one and you would be surprised how many people will learn from viewing the video. You have accomplished what you have intended😀.Again, allow your creativity to drive your talent.😃.

@@roslynbelton9019 Thank you, I really appreciate that. I'm a huge Tina Turner fan, the way she went from behind a victim to fight her way out literally, she reinvented her life in her middle age, and became a legend this is so inspiring to me, I think this is what Dorothy did in a different way. I really wanted to can honored vs Judging those women. When we hear that song we all know what it stand for, I really wanted to keep that national item for those strong women alive.
