Why does TJ think the internet is a single person? The people that think Dak sucks wouldn't want him on their team. But most people don't think Dak sucks. They just think he's not an elite guy, which he probably isn't, top 10 is still really good. TJ's calling out a hypocrisy that doesn't exist, and he thinks only Dak gets talked about like that when EVERY qb does to some extent.

Tua is staying with Miami. I think it gets done the first week of training camp. My hot take - the deal is essentially done and they are choosing to announce when the season officially starts with training camp. Herbert and the Chargers did this last year. Tua likes PR/media as much as Herbert, so it fits nicely to announce this all when you are back to work and likely already had a presser scheduled. The difference between Dak and Tua - Miami and McDaniels believe in Tua. So he'll get the deal. The Cowboys do not appear to believe in Dak. And like Rich said, other teams are QB hungry.

Roughly half the league wants Dak, the other half doesn't because he is roughly the 13th best QB in the NFL. Competitive QB but unlikely to ever win a Super Bowl or even play in one.

Maybe fans should educate themselves and quit listening to false narratives 😂 Lamar Jackson has a passer rating of 75.7 with 1,324 yards, 6 touchdowns and 6 interceptions in 6 games in the playoffs in his career. Dak Prescott has a passer rating of 91.8 with 1,962 yards, 14 touchdowns and 7 interceptions in 7 games in the playoffs in his career.

@@EdTex7643 Lol this is a box score reader take. Lamar has 2 MVPs, but Dak is better because he has 5 garbage time TDs in his 2016 and 2023 blowout losses to the Packers. None of those TD passes were actually impactful and it's still a team game, and you'd rather have Lamar on your team than Dak unless they were both 34.

@@EdTex7643 Why are you comparing 2 people who have done nothing in the playoffs. Yes, Dak is better than Lamar in playoffs, but he's still not great in those moments. And Lamar is better than Dak in the regular season, so it's a wash. Neither one deserves playoff confidence until they prove it.

Cowboys fans not understanding that Dak isn't Elite but he's good. Lot's of teams with worse QB situations, than the cowboys in the league. He's IMHO behind Stafford, Purdy, Love, and Goff (maybe tied with Hurts) in the NFC. All those other QBs have more wins in the playoffs than him and some have beaten him handily. That means maybe at least 10 teams in the NFC (same situation in the AFC as there's about 4-5 guys there I wouldn't trade for Dak) alone that would love to have Dak as their QB as he is an upgrade to what they have. The question is, are you willing to pay 40-60 million a year for a QB who keeps choking in the playoffs?

That would be twice to 3peat for Green Bay if you’re willing to go back even further. Then If you’re willing to look at pre merger teams then you would have to tip the hat to the 1946-1950 Cleveland Brown for their 5 in a row championships. Would we then also have to say Tom Brady is NOT the G O A T, but rather hand that crown to Otto Graham? This is why most are willing to acknowledge a demarcation point between “old time football” and the modern game, starting with Super Bowl I.

LeVeon Bell tried it, then he ended up settling for an offer from the Jets that was LESS than the first offer he rejected in Pittsburgh, then his career was entirely irrelevant, nobody ever paid attention to him and he accomplished absolutely nothing on the field ever again in his life..... cost himself millions of initial earnings because he never got an offer as big as the one he first rejected, cost himself millions in the year he sat out and didn't play, then cost himself millions in future earnings because his career never recovered..... it was a stupid idea then and would be even stupider now

Brendon Rice and McConkey are likely gonna be explosive. But also Palmer, & Johnston were never developed. The coaching change will be the key to their breakout.

1. How could one even pick against the Chiefs after the past 2 seasons? Not a good question 2. Dak without question. Cowboys need to move on from him and he needs to move on from them. Seahawks would be a good fit for Dak 3. Higgins. Assuming both stay healthy I think Higgins would still get more targets. 9ers have more weapons to spread out the touches and targets

See where we are come Feb and what draft position the Hawks have, in relation to the prospects available. Not having a quality QB is a nightmare, however overreaching or over paying for one who isn't a significant upgrade has historically not gone well. Better off sticking with average, but inexpensive at QB and building elsewhere. The Dak to the Hawks has popped up several times on Hawks' channels and 80%+ of fans in the comments are not interested in him at what he'd likely cost.
