@@suestephan3255, and you can prove that, how, exactly? Prove that Betty White went to Hell, how? I am an agnostic and I cannot disprove that or prove it. I also cannot prove or disprove a heaven or hell. But, you are certain. So, let's see your proof. And, if its faith-based proof, where is your proof that faith is more important as a proving tool, than concrete evidence is? Let's see it. If you cannot produce that, then quit being a contrarian, and let these religious folks have their wishful thinking... along side yours.

@@robertsprouse9282 woah I said you can’t be sure. As an agnostic you doubt the Bible but those who believe what God says know what He says. It is really wonderful that the Word of God is straight forward. I am not going to get in to specifics but Betty spoke out against what the Bible teaches. It is not to pick and chose but many do and then it is a different Gospel.

@@suestephan3255, that is true only if CHRISTIANITY IS TRUE. You just assume the sale. And, you need to learn that agnostics question yes or no, any religion= belief in a God/god(s). You just seem to say WELL, THE CHRISTIAN GOD AND THE BIBLE are the ONLY ONES that you are questioning because THEY ARE THE ONLY ONES ATTACHED TO A GOD(S).. Yeah, what proof do you have? I think you like categorizing people and then hiding behind convenient institutions so you can feel better about yourself, although you say you're a sinner but you're a redeeeeeemed sinner lol, by putting other people in a box and putting them down not with your ego BUT GAWD ALMIGHTY, JEEEESUS- although, its your ego doing it- but hiding behind a God delivering your desired putdown IS SO MUCH SNEAKIER. I will bet my house that is how you operate. This may come as a shock to you but I do not care for BETTY WHITE'S LIB POLITICS, but to condemn her hiding behind a proxy for my ego, a GOD, is something I am too humble AND HONEST WITH MYSELF, to do, especially, when its my wishful thinking..like YOURS..LIKE..YOUR SUPEREGO'S.. @@markie909 My TV aerial antenna got destroyed by wind over 5 years ago, and I realized there was nothing on TV that I missed, so I never replaced it. I live off-grid on a mountain, so no cable available. I've never seen any of those shows because I only watched PBS and reruns of "Star Trek" and Westerns anyway. KZfaq is WAY better, because I can watch really wonderful shows like this one, any time I want! My Mom loved this show, but I didn't watch it when I was a kid because it would have been "boring" to small children. The other night I was watching WML? and Arlene wore a dress that was IDENTICAL to my Mom's "little black dress" with rhinestones and a silk chiffon cape that I loved so much as a child that I still have it! I know she bought it at Neiman Marcus, I still remember going shopping there with her and she dressed to the nines; hat, gloves, silk stockings, and Estee Lauder perfume. There was a salon where models would show the new dresses to customers as they sat and sipped coffee. I was a quiet child, so I was allowed to be there and it's such a fun memory! I got to dress up too, though I hated the white gloves. I wish I could tell Mom that she was every bit as elegant and lovely in that dress as Arlene was. Mom would be 100 this year if she was still with us.

No. They were OF their time. Likely born in the 20s, came of age during the want of the dirty 30s (when most had to roll up their sleeves and do any job that they could find just to eat) and then likely worked at traditionally male-dominated jobs during WW2. The 50s were full of these fabulous, smart and self-sufficient ladies but today, we constantly have Marilyn Monroe shoved in our faces - we don't see the full picture. Ironically, it was during the 60s that women were depicted as weak and silly (when feminism was making its big comeback), not the 50s. Watch 50s episodes of WML and see how many women judges, ditch diggers, Doctors, electricians, politicians etc they present.

@@rosepearl7092, Bingo!!..They always want to say that women would just let men run all over them back then. That aint the household I grew up in. Both my late stepmom and still alive half sister had big, harpy mouths. My late Grandma, EVA SPROUSE raised me from 2 and a half to 5 and would on foot if she couldn't get a cab, walk three miles into town every day and sometimes back, to work at the bus station in Pittsburg, TX., at first full-time in her 60's, and then part-time all the way up into her 80's so she wouldn't lose her Social Security. She lived to be 95. My biological mother who abandoned me to her friend out in California where I was born in the '50's, was a feisty old person who I did not see from 2.5 to 53 and worked in a casino as a waitress for decades. These so-called feminists post-1970, think they invented the strong, independent woman the female who would not take guff from a man, or anyone. Lol, what a bunch of crap.

The 93-year-old actress told Oprah that if she could do anything differently in life, she would have married her husband Allen Ludden sooner. White said she put Allen off for a year before finally giving in, marrying him in 1963. When Oprah asked White if she had “any big regrets,” White responded: “That I spent a whole year, wasted a whole year, that Allen and I could have had together, saying no, I wouldn’t marry him. No, I won’t. No, I won’t leave California. No, I won’t move to New York. I wasted a whole year we could have had together. But we made it. We finally did.” Oddly enough, Betty White’s biggest regret had nothing to do with her first two failed marriages. She married U.S. Army pilot Dick Barker in 1945 and Hollywood agent Lane Allen in 1947, but White said they were just not right for her. “I had lovely relationships, but not anything in the league of Allen,” she told the Mail Online last year. Betty White met Allen Ludden when she appeared on his game show, and they dated for two years before White finally accepted his proposal. They remained together until Allen’s death in 1981. Betty White would never marry again, saying that no other man could compare to Allen.

With Allan Ludden and Betty White, It’s a shame they were only married 18 years until he passed away in 1981. That marriage was his second, her third. Given that she had two marriages before him, it is rather a tribute to him that he died in 1981 and she has not married since. I hope she makes it to at least January 2022 to celebrate her 100 birthday.
