Beating Colorado because it sets the tone for the rest of the season. Starting at 0-2 is deflating especially with the high expectations for this season.

Every game is the most important game of the season. I believe in throwing everything we have at each team and never losing a home game when we have a full roster. Let us use the full roster and rotate all possessions. Let us get it right and not just hope for a miracle or think the game will get better. The game is played to win not to favor one player or another, it is a team effort.

Colorado will be the most important. It will be a hugely promoted game, and will raise Nebraskas standing in the eyes of young talent everywhere for future recruitment

Rutgers is obviously the most important game. Colorado is to early to be the most important game and its not even a Big10 game so that doesn't make sense..Rutgers is the most important game. If we cant be Rutgers who on the rise and has better recruiting classes then Nebraska then we have a long way to go.

I went with USC, I was going outside of the box because I have talked about Rutgers at length on this channel being our most difficult in that early slate, however, I feel like that game matters more depending on how Nebraska opens. But a 5-0 Nebraska losing to Rutgers isn't the end of the world. I feel like it's more important to end strong and picking up a win against a tier 2 team being a good litmus test for the defense that's in the thick of the most difficult stretch of the year.

That would be an awesome underdog win. But it won’t be important since we are not expected to win. Every game we are favored to win will be more important than Ohio state.
