We are so excited since we didn't go back to Taiwan for almost 3 years because of Covid. There are lots of changes at my parent's house since 3 years ago I moved from Taiwan to the US. We are staying for more than a month in Taiwan this time. Stay tuned for more Taiwan updates!

Loved it all but the poor dog chained up and the bird in a tiny cage. I’m just not use to seeing that

Thanks for watching. FYI These are mountain wild dogs which eat raw meat, not your typical home dog. We treat him very well, and bring him to the beach. Bird is still a baby, so we had to leave her in the cage. Also she gets to fly around within the house. Where are you from? (I am assuming not Asia? )

Hey...cool video...do enough people speak English there to venture in ease...or no...just give me the real answer?

I would say more people speaks English in Taiwan than Japan, but you can't compare Taiwan with Singapore or other south east country like the Philippines. It depends on what level you are talking about. My husband couldn't read or speak any Chinese, and he was able to travel Taiwan by himself for a week. His major transportation was taking trains, metros and taxi back then.You can look up other KZfaqrs that Taiwan welcomes foreign tourists very much, and the government is promoting tourism, and emphasizing on English education. In general, I think it would be pretty easy to venture Taiwan in ease! If it's your first time visiting, I would recommend visiting Taipei!

@@sliceofalice thankyou you, and good answer. And I like how your educated on Japan and you know the difficulties of Japan. I would love to one day visit, but just what you said, southeast Asia is easier to navigate and cost effective. Good vlog guys. I'll join the patreon later.
