Your earlier video on how to import graphics helped here. Can you explain some good uses for this trick?

For graphics to features, you could take doodles or sketches other users have drawn and use those as a starting point for actual features and fine tune them from there. For Features to graphics, you can show the features with an offset if they overlap with another feature without messing with the position of the original features.

I need to go back further. How do I draw a box or drop a point and then export it to a feature class? I can do this is 10 seconds on the old desktop. That's all I need to do. I get a request like "Draw a 500' buffer around the building at this address. Fastest way to do the box for the building, thanks.

Go watch my buffer tool video. There’s a little pencil icon next to the input features box on the buffer geoprocessing tool that allows you to use sketch tools to draw a shape to buffer. I hope that helps! Thanks for watching.

Sorry, it’s only available with 2.9. Upgrading is easy though.
