Who is coming to Las Vegas soon? Where are you staying!?

We grew up with Van Hslen! Saw them singing in a parking lot in Southern California b4 they became known! Sure do miss Eddie Van Halan such a great guitar player & great band🎉

If they’re closing the Nomad hotel, I would hold off on reviewing the rooms if they’re not going to be available in the near future. I would however be interested to see how they rebrand those floors once they’re completed.

My husband and I will be at Red Rock Resort 5/2-5/4, Palazzo, 5/3-5/5, Mandalay Bay 5/5-5/9. We celebrate both our birthdays and anniversary in Vegas every year and absolutely love the weather and low crowds before the EDC arrives.

Hi Ruby! My husband and I are coming to Las Vegas tomorrow for a week. We're staying at the Elara. The main purpose of our trip is the XRP convention at MGM Grand on Thursday, Friday and Saturday. I take copious notes from your videos and they helped us so much when we came to the same convention last year.

0:56 The new arcade on Fremont Street will be located in the historic El Portal Theatre building that opened in 1928. It was the first building in Las Vegas to have air conditioning. Closed in the late-1970’s, it became El Portal Gifts and then an Indian Arts & Crafts store.

Hey Ms. Ruby. Sammy Hagar was Sammy Hagar on his own before he joined Van Halen. His music is awesome before he joined Van Halen and awesome with Van Halen as well.

FYI, Sammy sold Cabo Wabo Tequila to Bacardi about 6 years ago. He an Guy Fieri have a new Tequila called Santo. Blanco, Repo, Anejo and a Mesquila blend of blanco and mezcal. If you watch Triple D or Guys Grocery Games you'll see the bottles or Hunter or Guy wearing the T-shirts. Pretty tasty

The Park MGM is one of my favorite properties, and the NoMad is a big part of that. Encourage you to stay there (and eat at the NoMad Library) before it closes. Curious if MGM replaces it with another hotel-within-a-hotel or just folds it into the Park.

My family will be in Las Vegas in May! We’re staying at the MGM Grand May 27-31 to celebrate my in laws’ 50th wedding anniversary and my & my husband’s 26th anniversary. They honeymooned at the Stardust. It’s our first time in Vegas though!

Just did a staycation at The Virgin and it was awesome. Leon Bridges was playing at The Theater to a packed house! Really happy to see Virgin bringing in such amazing talent. The stay and food was awesome as well.

Great recap! Actually preparing for my flight this morning to come back out for a week - staying at Venetian, then Fountainbleau, then Delano. I'm doing some work at Lovers & Friends so happy I'll be right across the street from the festival grounds! I def think you should stay at Nomad for a couple of days - the rooms are unique and cozy. Service is top notch.

Beatles love closing makes me sad. Saw it for the first time last summer and there aren't enough words in the English language on how good that show really is. Hopefully it gets picked up at another property

Sad to hear NoMad closing, stayed there pre COVID, it was a great experience. The room decor was one of the most unique ones I’ve stayed at. Very Eurasian/Transylvania type of feel, staff was fantastic!

I stayed at Nomad a couple months after it first opened. It was the best room I have ever stayed at. The best part was there was a beautiful bathtub literally just feet away from the bed. Had fun “using” it. I’m 38 from LA so I’ve been to Vegas hundreds and hundreds of times and stayed at almost every resort. I guess it being tucked away at Park MGM didn’t help it.

Have you been to Peppermill? My husband and I come in September… we trust your opinions on food restaurants,as we follow you,and try food restaurants you and husband go too.

The monorail was bought by the LV convention and visitors Association a few years ago and is not closing for now. As the monorail gets older, replacement parts are becoming more scarce and it will become harder, if not impossible to make repairs. Eventually, the monorail be decommissioned. So it will close eventually. From 8 news now LV 4/9/23 "The monorail is owned by the Las Vegas Convention and Visitors Authority, which bought it for $24 million in 2020. LVCVA CEO and President Steve Hill told 8 News Now at the time it was about efficiency. It could cost $200 million to replace the aging trains, Hill said in 2020. He said he expects a different system to replace it as it breaks down in the coming years."

6 of us Aussie guys will be in Vegas next week! We started our gambling club in 2019 and due to the dreaded CV we postponed it until now! All airfares and accommodation paid for! I'm so bummed about Nomad closing. It was our little secret, the nicest rooms at a great price. The pool stunk, but everything else was top notch.

Just got back from Caesars Palace. Not impressed. Thought both the Paris and Flamingo were better. I also got robbed and Caesars were not exactly helpful. Been going to Vegas for 20 years ...... not sure if I will be going back. Nothing but bad memories from this trip.

I stayed at Paris Hotel las Vegas with my friend on May 10, 2024. It was really nice that I upgraded to a suite room.

We absolutely loved staying at the NoMad. Sad that it is leaving. You should stay there before it goes so I can watch another video of that amazing place and reminisce.

Hi Ruby! I know you mentioned that the Nomad will be closing but have you heard anything about the Library in the Nomad? We love that place! It's tough to get into but the meals are absolutely fabulous!

8:12 AEW is actually gonna be at the MGM Grand on May 27 & 28th! They do a Pay Per View every Memorial Day weekend in Vegas called Double or Nothing. I flew in for it from NY last year and i'm coming back again for it this year. So excited.

I’m staying at MGM Grand the end of May. It is my first Vegas trip…so excited!!!

I'll be in LV at the end of June for ten(?) days. Will be playing in tournaments at the World Series of Poker and will be staying at the Paris in a Bordeaux King (hopefully with a Strip view). First time staying there. Most of the stay will be comped!🤑 I'll be reserving dinner reservations a month in advance at several locations (Caesars Bacchanal, Lotus of Siam, Ramsey's, maybe Martha Stewart). Will check out Brewdog, too. Planning is part of the fun!

I’ve stayed at the majority of mgm properties. Nomad was one of our faves! Sad it’s going. Makes sense as to why I couldn’t get any comps here the last few months. Loved their private pool as well

I hope they rebrand the Nomad and not make it part of Park MGM. One of my favorite parts about it is the fact that it has its own concierge and is much easier to get in and out of.

I went to the Dita Von Tease show last year around Thanksgiving. so much fun. Would love to see a Cirque show based on the music of Prince, or David Bowie. As someone who flies in once a year, to have the monorail connect to the airport would be fantastic - but the taxi union would likely want to kill that. Even better is spending the money now, use the monorail right of way to expand a bit to handle regular light rail cars, which are common as dirt.
