I wonder if they just take the seat out at the dealership to change the battery! I’ve seen them in the trunk but NEVER under the seat. I don’t know who would want to do all of that to change a battery but engineers aren’t mechanics🤷🏾‍♂️

43:47 I always have noticed since you got the International that when you pop your brakes you don't put the truck in neutral, so the transmission stays in drive, possibly wearing your clutch down overtime. You can also tell you leave it in gear all the time looking back on previous videos by when you release your brakes you always press neutral then drive on the gear selector.

Those transmissions have automatic neutral when the brakes are set but yeah applying pressure to the brakes then pressing neutral and then setting brakes causes less wear

Glad to see you back behind the wheel. All truck manufacturers use that same engine and transmission combination in all sorts of trucks. Parts fail and are not limited to that one model of truck.

ok sir next time just pull the 4 13mm bolts on the seat and push it forward 👍 changing that battery way easier and you running a buisness it would be wise to keep a Buisness Credit card on Board for situations like the rental and so forth... preferably get one through your Credit Union not the Rip off Banks out here.. just saying never know 🤷 otherwise be safe out there Brother Tradd safe on the Gravel...10/4

That's all that matters people don't realize that. Trucks are expensive It's not like fixing your car. It's a whole different ball game. So so don't listen to them idiots out there. Same battery as my 2016 Yukon and it was hell trying to get it out to change it. It’s under the hood but you can only get it out at a angle and plus take out bolts to get to it.

A lot of suv's are putting the battery either under the passenger side seat. My aunt has a Mercedes car and it had 2 batteries. One under the hood and another in the trunk. What's up Caveman. We waiting on the KZfaq videos.

Never thought you were going out of business. But everyone breaks down at some point or another. I'm thinking the haters just don't like seeing someone else succeed. They just want it to fall in their laps and reap unearned rewards. Just keep moving forward. Don't forget to get that alignment done!!! It's wearing your tires out faster not having it done.

I live in texas and charged almost 32k for a repair that was similar a little bit more involved because my transmission grenaded and destroyed the flywheel housing, flywheel, wire harness, oil pan, trans mounts, engine mount, output shaft almost everything but the axles from the flywheel back mechanically got done. I'd like to get a referral for the shop you used though because even the portion you had to pay for a clutch replacement etc was fairly priced. I would not hesitate to go with people that do good work at a fair price.

It’s sounding like you lost the driver for the automatic and I wish you knew it earlier so you could have put the manual in the truck like you originally planned to do!!?? And I’m glad it went out while you were driving it and not with the new driver and having to wonder if the truck was being ridden hard!!! I’m hoping that new one in NY or NJ works out well for you and I think it’d be a wonderful thing for you!!! I think Benz dealers remove the seat. Some have to be programmed in imports. Run team with ole boy a couple weeks and crank up the revenue. My mother stay in the Chattanooga area. You can get some good ole home cooking. If 72 of us send just a hundred bucks we will have it covered.

The cost of things these days is no joke and I'm actually shocked at how expensive it is to go trucking versus owning your own vehicle. I often wonder when people will open their eyes to the reality of what they've done to this country where it is almost fearful to get the dreaded bill to fix something because alot of these places gouge you whenever they can or try to sell you up on things you don't need.

Did you also Register the battery to the car? A lot of functions of the car don't work correct if it is not set up right. Or is it not required on this this type of Mercedes?

There was definitely a driver lined up to get in that truck. Just an unfortunate set of circumstances happened that kept pushing back what was going to happen. Not all things are meant to happen. But I'm sure you have never had any plans fail either.

Well gee it's called slow down like can't even read the numbers in the video you are going way too fast so slow down and let the truck idle find a trailer cuz we can't even see the damn numbers you're going to the damn fast
