If they were not so concerned with profits they would have stable coins in all currencies or at least the top 5 or 10. Forex on the blockchain as the current system customers are hit with quite a lot of fees on exchange.

We have decentralized stable coins , Dai on Eth and Djed on Cardano, that's the right way to create stable coins

Indeed, I'd rather support a decentralised stablecoin, I don't subscribe to the view that it's impossible to have an algorithmic stablecoin that can succeed. I don't trust centralised entities that are still tied to the banking system, especially entities like Circle who are World Economic Forum 'strategic partners'.

Jessica dropped the ball here. Tether was massively into Celsius. His perspective on Mashinsky and or that catastrophe would have been envaluable. Note: Tether was a large investor at the very least. Ironically, Celsians were worried about Tether being scammy at the time!

I don't think they can, but the Federal Reserve can inflate the US dollar into oblivion, which would thereby render all USD stablecoins worthless.

The point of the stablecoin is that it’s actually backed by dollars. As long as we can verify and not just trust tether, we should be good… unlike the FED.
