What's Next SF: Replacing Fire Station 5

5 жыл бұрынIn 2010, the citizens of San Francisco approved an ESSER (earthquake safety and emergency response ) general obligation bond that included improvements to or replacements of the City’s 44 fire stations. During the assessment of Fire Station 5, which was built in 1956, it was decided that the cost of retrofitting it would be higher than the cost of replacement. Consequentially, demolition started in April of 2017 and the completion of this 21st-century facility is scheduled for the end of 2018.

The guys salid their will b 5apperatus bays but their is only 4....

no, there are 5. See the shorter bay door at the far left of the building.

The smaller door is for the Battalion Chief vehicle.
