What's on the Trailer? Episode #11. Trx4 Portal Delete Hardbody!

Edit…. 450 80t is way to under powered…, played in some sand and it was gutless. I’m sure I was close to burning it out.., got pretty warm (also a hot day).
Had this trx4 chassis for a while.., deleted the portals right away and it sat.
Finally got around to finishing the team raffee co hardbody. Cut the hood and rear cap…
Running the original shocks.., limited them by about 9mm.
Since removing the portals.., the gearing is very high…, so I’m using a hw1080 and cheap Amazon 80t 450 can. Seems to be a great hearing for the 2 speed. I’m guessing very close to stock.., maybe a little slower but slightly less torque from the smaller can.
Tires are 1.9 beadlocks and rc4wd 1.9 Hawk Eyes (hard to find).
Body is firmly mounted thru stock bumpers…, battery access thru cap the is held in place by magnets….

Every Mudder Putter video another step unto the ladder of crawling greatness! Thank you Lance. Always enjoy the 'how we got here' in the description, be it parts and your work carried out. The heft of the body adds to the realism, as does a deliberate brush of perfected patina. And the kayak compliments this build nicely. From dusty corner somewhere in the scale garage to now all the way trailing in the Summer forest. Cheers boss, cool as always and as the popular saying goes: 'keep them coming' ✌😄

Really look forward to another outing.., the canoe has too much weight and kept overpowering the magnets holding the cab on;))) Might need to add a little more rust yet…, was hoping the paint had more of a yellow tinge…, too late now;)

Thanks brother! There’s a whole list of different little tricks I’ve learned. I run a lot of my rigs with little to no shock oil, worse for performance; but better for visuals. (The biggest trick; I actually run the rc a little quicker on trial and slow it down in editing. Gives a smoother look to video and vehicle suspension.) Cheers Lance
