This car is amazing. It's an utterly sublime drive with a beast of an engine that can creep like a cat down a city street. The handling is incredible. I'll never sell mine.

This is by far the best video on this car. So rare there aren’t many. Something about the cloudy atmosphere and the black on black on black make it pop.

Bought mine new in 2012 - still have it! What a motor..

I'm not sure if the 4 GTS with non sport suspension has the same bespoke suspension as the one on the rwd version. I bought my first 911 in 2012 and thought I could only afford a Carrera S, but one morning I found a very low mileage and very low priced CGTS. I called the dealership and asked if the car was in an accident or what's wrong with it because the price was $95k and 1,100 miles and had many extra options I would not choose if I was buying new because of price. The salesman told me that the owner is very old (mid 80s) and wanted a 911 with the new pdk since he didn't want to shift anymore and was very wealthy he put in a custom order, but after receiving it, it was too much car for him and bought a panamera immediately. Because this gentleman had bought many cars through this dealership and also did business with his company (I can't say the name of the company he owns or it'll be easy to figure out his identity.

I thought i had read once that Porsche made the GTS 997 because they had excess 3.8 "X51" package engines that no one was optioning on the Carrera build so they came up with this car to try to basically "sell" the engines.... I could be wrong.. Anyone know?
