Your videos have helped me sooo much this year. Got the brakes done, did a oil clean/flush/change as well and did the spark plugs. I then tackled the valve covers and it solved my smoking issue. The neato harbor freight light mod was the best, great lighting at a nice price, Eagerly awaiting these tuner/tuning videos . Thank you so much for what you do.

Really looking forward to this comparison. I was wanting to go with the Jackal tune since for the ECU and TCU tune it ends up being half the price of most competitors but I guess we'll need to see how it stacks up!

Awesome, really looking forward to it. I run the Jackal tune on my B7 S4 and RS4 and I love it. I am considering getting a C7 A7, and would love to know how the Jackal tune stacks up against the competition. Your channel is great btw, keep it up!

Glad you said this. I've been away from Audi for a few years now and I was wondering why people are shying away from APR. They used to be number one. This explains it.

Sounds like you have a lot in the pipe line! I'm still waiting to hear about what aluminum pipe to use for the 4in S5 custom intake. Otherwise ready to go and am very excited to run the 4in compared to whats in the car now. Currently IE but can't wait to hear your other reviews and comparisons. The content your putting out seems to be the most helpful for the 3.0t at this time no matter the platform so I love what your doing please keep it up, we need people like you to advance this motor.

Love the content! Hope to see you 1 day NC ain't that far from FL I should be hitting Tennessee here shortly to go see a buddy maybe see you then. I never had IE tune but for me jackal had better throttle response and pulled harder all the way, my 034 e40 tune was lacking idk if it was safety stuff they had built in or what but I do miss the launch control from 034! Plus jackals tcu lowered recline from 034 7400 to 7000 they said without ported blower it's just not efficient.

Did you release the rest of the tune videos? I couldn't find any other than this. I was honestly wondering about the differences and which is best amongst the 034, Jackal, IE, APR, and any others that I don't know about. I'm new to the topic of tuning

It put a delay for sure. There is a lot to consider when I make the video. But I'm still going to bring you guys the info. Right now I'm focusing on getting my car back on the road before alpine Volks fair in May haha.

How different are the tunes from non-crec and crec engines is there a big difference with each tuner ?

Getting the crec tune right takes some work. They are tricky to tune because of fueling issues.

@audic7owners Hey! If you're doing the tune tests all on yours back to back. Should you unplug battery(reset) between tunes? Maybe not but in a way it makes sense to me. Just throwing it out there to possibly help. I have plenty of info as an ex Audi tech (not a master though) just know loads of hacks. Hope alls well. Also I live in WI,Oshkosh. If you are ever around lmk!

Every tune erases & then reflashes all the data on the ecu including dtc's as well, so the battery reset isn't needed. But I will have to do multiple runs on each tune since the first wot pull after flashing is typically an adaptation pull.

thinking about picking up an a6 after crashing my s4. question how come i dont see much 3.0t's pushing more then 500-600hp?

Limited on fueling basically. It's very hard to hit 500whp due to the inability to ruin E85 at present.

@@AudiC7Owners what exactly is limting the fueling? space under the supercharger? fuel pump? also might be a stupid question but thoughts on port injection? what if you were to drill some holes and install some injectors into the supercharger but right before the intake manifold. kinda like how the b7 s4 had port injection.

The car is limited to being able to run E-40 with tunes and hardware at this time. You cannot run anything above that very safely especially not e85. We need multiport injection, and there hasn't been a turnkey solution that allows for E85 with simple tuning yet

There's a 3.0t legend that you really need to contact. He is one of the most knowledgeable, resourceful innovators of our time. He goes by the name Dave Panciotti, and he's contributed more to the community than perhaps any person has to any platform ever. He's gone through the effort of contacting APR and getting a special agreement with them to flash his car at home, and he's done the painstakingly tedious work of flashing his car to APR while putting 104 octane in his tank. His car runs INSANE TIMES and he's full weight*. His DA has nothing to do with it, and he's pushing 600 horsepower** on the stock blower. * - He's not full weight ** - This number was calculated by some calculator on a website that looks like it's from 1996

😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂 Only because they put a software cap on the amount of boost you can push on their tune even though everyone else has been safely running higher levels for years. You don't hear anyone blowing up cars with APR because no one with APR is even close to pushing records. Anyone can be safe when you severely restrict the cars ability way below the threshold of even being moderately risky. BTW, they're are still cars with APR tunes that blew up. But if you are someone who still blames tunes for hardware failures or lack of maintenance then you should probably bow out of that convo.

Never seen people melt pistons with apr 3.0 tune but can’t say the same for 034.

Someone literally posted in the groups with an engine failure on an APR tune lol. It's about the maintenance (or lack of). Not the tune.
