Does winter orb still work on your turn if you tap it for mana on someone's endstep? So shouldn't he be taping it on the ends tep before his turn to be able to until all his lands ? I guess if I watched the video I would have seen that he does that later in the game lol

My local store is doing a special league where every commander has partner. I run Jhoira. Is it better to run Urza as second. Or throw in 3-4 cards for Godo combo?

I think ballista couldn’t have been successfully cast because of chalice , it had one charge counter and ballista was cast with X equals 1 therefore cmc is one and chalice would’ve countered it

Jhoira is my one and only cEDH deck (still missing a couple cards due to money but it's almost there, have been building slowly), she's not always the most resiliant but I love her.

They say you just have to count to 11 to win with Godo, and they are right, but with everyone trying to keep you from counting to 11, it feels epic to get there!

Yes, walking ballista for 1 has a cmc on the stack of 2.

Also with brago even if he didn’t go under his owners control and would come out still under your control, when he changes zones to exile they can choose to have him go to the command zone instead

Very late comment since i didnt find this channel until like a month ago but in game 3, you guys showed the wrong Saheeli Rai. It was the token creating saheeli that Tyler played and I was so confused what he meant by trigger lol. Also, keep up the great vids!

the line about mono red being ignored is why my mono white mangara the diplomat deck wins so much in 6-7. I do some board wipes to slow opponents down and then kill them by rebuilding to fast for them to keep up. currently building teshar cedh deck

I think this should be updated. I just built a nekrasar artifact deck that pulls out the perfect grixis stacks lockout. It's main win Con is to use hellkite tyrant with 20 artifacts on turn 3, finally cast time warp. Win game. Otherwise, you kill people off drawing cards with lockout with crawler or the commander. The finale win Con is beating people in the face with thopters and dragon tokens.

My dream start for brago has only happened once. I cast turn 1 mana crypt, sol ring, mox diamond, land, Brago. Turn 2 was land, tangle wire, and copy artifact 😂

Urza could have tapped the winter orb during the end step before his turn and then untapped all his lands leaving up the orb for opponents turns

Winter Orb {2} As long as Winter Orb is untapped, players can’t untap more than one land during their untap steps. That's why it was inside the Urza's deck friend. 11:36

cant Urza just tap winter orb at the end step of the previous players turn? Scryfall states that if you have the orb tapped at you untap step you can untap everything. Its disgusting and i didn't see Cam do this in game.

Don't worry, she might not be top tier but storm decks a deceptive in that when they go off they look as if you could never beat that and if they don't they look like they don't do ****. It's just the nature of storm decks.

I love your guys' content, but there was a pretty big error in the video. In game 1 Brandon copies the Brago trigger with the same targets. Edit: I missed a step when watching the episode, you guys played it correctly. Sorry for being mistaken! I still love the show.

@@PlaytoWinMTG targets are chosen when the ability goes on the stack. When it goes to resolve it no longer sees the targets that were chosen, since a blinked card is considered a new permanent on the battlefield.

You need snow mana to make colored with astrolabe. You cant do it with the monolith.

I felt like Urza needs another showcase ... There were a lot of turns in game 3 where Urza could have tapped the Winter Orb to untap all his lands and possibly made more plays

It was stasis not winter orb keeping everything locked down. Once stasis was gone he tapped winter orb to untap his lands
