👑 breakfast at Cinderella’s Royal Table tip- we booked the earliest breakfast reservation available. It allowed us to get in and take castle pics with no one else around. We also got there early and were the first in line at opening to meet Cinderella, which meant we were seated first and got the closest table to the windows that fit our family size. I didn’t realize how much cooler it was to see fantasyland while eating and it made the early wake up so much more worth it!

👑👸🏰Holy moly! I can’t believe how little flexibility Cinderella’s has (with toddler menus and TIME)😳And it costs so much UP FRONT, you’d think they’d ensure that people felt like they got their money’s worth so they’d come back again. I’ve not done either of those particular meals, but after seeing this, we’d definitely choose Akershus!👍🏻Thank you for your honesty!

So wierd request.. but would you be able to make a character meet compilation with the girls? My littles also watch these videos with me and I would love a "kid geared" video. So not tips, just character magic? My girls just get so excited to point at the screen and see different characters! It also builds an expectation on what we'd see once we are there. 👑

All I’m hearing is I get to save $180+ for our daughters 3rd birthday 😂 We had dinner at Akershus last month and it was, dare I say, the best character dining we’ve ever done. It was the first time we didn’t feel rushed and the princesses interactions were top notch. 👑

On our most recent vacation we had Akershus for brunch and Garden Grill for dinner and it was the best day ever! Amazing food and so many great character meets!!!

Loved my lunch at Cinderella's Castle, but I think we will try breakfast at Akershus if I can snag an early morning reservation. I would love to enter the world showcase at 8 am when it is relatively empty. Or maybe since breakfast lasts until noon, we will make it more of a lunch choice but only use one dining credit to do so. Cindy requires advance payment too which is a lot of money to tie up for my party of 6.

👑 I enjoyed the food and interaction at Akershus back in February. Even though it was just my hubby and I, the characters were great. And can I just say how yummy that caramel goat cheese was! We've only ate in the castle once and it was way back in 2008 when our kids were younger (7, 11 and 13). I do believe the service and character interaction was so much better back then compared to what I hear about now.

Akershus was the best experience we had on our trip back in Feb. 2023. We found the dinner food to be amazing (honestly one of the best meals we had while at Disney) and the princess experience was so awesome. Our 3 year old loved it. We have the pictures of her and the princesses up in her bedroom now. Never been to Cinderellas Royal Table but Akershus was a 10/10 for our family. We would also recommend this dining experience over Be Our Guest.

👑 I 100% agree with you on the feel of CRT. As a mom that already gets overly stimulated easily, I thought Royal Table was super loud, squished, and I remember feeling a bit rushed as well. Yes it’s awesome to be inside the castle, but for me and my family it’s a one and done type of thing. I definitely prefer Akershus over CRT. 👍🏻

I highly recommend going again for lunch! I’ve never once had this experience and have gone multiple times. We took our 12 month old in September and all the princesses were so amazing with her. We weren’t rushed at all, we were the ones to choose to leave.

👑👸Hello Ashley 🫅👑 I enjoyed the vlog. I had an enchanting experience at Cinderella’s Royal Table during my visit in 2022. There were no princesses visiting the table but Cinderella herself was truly charming. She took a lot of times to talk to me as if we were friends. But in 2023 last year Rapunzel and Snow White were very kind and gracious to me. The other Princesses not as much I think because I am a solo senior. I am definitely going to have breakfast at Akershus Royal Banquet Hall. It sounds delicious and a bit less rushed. It was extremely difficult to get a reservation at Cinderella’s for just one

We did Cinderella's Royal Table on our first trip back in 2009 for lunch. It was really good. But it was a definite one and done for us. I like this comparison video for breakfast between the two places. I think we will probably do Akershus when we take my nieces next year.

We actually had a LOVLEY dinner at Akershus- it was our first time at Disney and our first meal there! I highly recommend Akershus to anyone. We are vegetarian and the food options were so delicious! xoxo

👸🏻🏰 ⭐️ love love love your videos! I’ve been watching Disney videos since 2021 when I started going to Disney World with my 3YO daughter. She’s 6 now and we’ve been 6x now. I’m mad that I just recently found your channel in February. I thought I knew everything I needed to know but you open my eyes to so much more - for instance, never knew that the mission space playground existed until I saw your reel! I’ve also never done Akersush but I have done CRT 3x. I will definitely be trying Epcot’s Princess breakfast next time.

I've only been to Cinderella's Royal table once, and it was for dinner and pre-COVID. I remember meeting Cinderella at the beginning and taking a picture, but I don't think she walked around during the meal. Seems like we saw more mice than any other character. Fairy Godmother did make an appearance, but it was more to do her bippity-boppity-boo thing than to walk around meeting people. I wasn't too impressed with the experience. Never been to Akershus, but it sounds like so much fun!🏰👑🤴👸

This might just be me, but I never feel like a character meal replaces a traditional character meet and greet. They always feel rushed and it is so incredibly expensive. We always do one or two on a trip, but we also meet the characters in the parks as well.

🏰There was dining availability at the Royal Table when we went in December (it used to be unheard of to get a reservation). I think it is because of the issues you mentioned: feeling rushed, the menu isn’t desirable to toddlers, and lack of magical feeling. So many better options and ways to meet the princesses than dining at the Royal Table.

Had the same experience with CRT. Boy mom here i also felt like they did not spend anytime with my sons leaving my 5 year old very upset. I feel a little better knowing that they are very quick with everyone .

Akershus is on our list for sure! Can’t really decide if I want to spend the money on Cinderella’s royal table yet…I’ve heard many reviews like yours. Maybe on our fall trip for our daughter’s birthday. She will be turning 5. One and done 😂 loved this video 🏰

I completely agree. I went to CRT in 2022 before the princesses were visiting. The meal was “so-so” and the Cinderella meet and greet was short. I have two boys and it was like she didn’t know how to interact with boys. I left knowing it was a one and done. Not worth the cost to me.

I really enjoyed CRT! We went for dinner though and we had a completely different experience. Our waitress was super accommodating and the food was really good! She even brought extra appetizers for us to try. I dont know if anything has changed, we went September 2023.

I felt the exact same way about Cinderella's Royal Table. We went for dinner and the food was ok, but overall it was not worth the price. We did Topolino's Terrace breakfast the same trip and we loved that.

We had the same Cinderella's Royal Table experience. Things were very rushed and the food was nothing special. It gets big points for atmosphere and we lucked out and were near the windows. I would have been happier going to an IHOP food wise though, lol. I don't think it's one we'll do again. The character handler asked us if we met everyone and then after that we never saw them again, lol. MEANWHILE, at Cape May we had the most outstanding experience ever (food was great and the characters came around MULTIPLE times and interacted with us multiple times/tho we did only see Minnie like one time, lol). I think we'll try Akershus next time we go because that food looks pretty good and meeting the princesses would be fun.

When we ate at CRT, our table was against a large pillar. It was horrible because one person had to sit next to the pillar, and then essentially had a pillar between you and the person next to you.

We went for dinner at CRT and My 2 year old got 1 piece of chicken nugget and a spoon of mashed potato lol, and apple juice. I didn’t like the food at all and the dessert was beautiful but extremely sweet . I might try Akershus next time but will never do CRT again

I had the same experience at both princess meals. Akershus- excellent princess interactions and food was delicious! CRT- very rushed, mediocre food for lunch, princess interactions were disappointing. Only benefits of CRT are being in the castle and the picture with Cinderella. The CRT restaurant had an odor/dirty carpet smell. It was loud and chaotic at CRT.

Wow they sound a lot stricter for breakfast! We did dinner and my youngest is almost 3. They offered him a choice between Mac n cheese and Chicken tenders. He was also given a cupcake when they brought out everyone's dessert. Overall I agree with you though. We also ate at Roundup Rodeo, Cape May, and Garden Grille. We felt we got more for our money and better character interaction at the buffet and family style meals.

👑 OK, so we're being super choosy between our meals this next trip. One princess meal, one Mickey meal, and one "other" (like Pooh or something). So if you had to pick between Cinderella's vs Akershus vs Story Book vs 1900 Park Fare...what's your preferred choice? (Our first time for all of these.)

After doing all of them I'd go with 1900 Park Fare! Food was great plus you could incorporate it into a none park day so you aren't wasting park time.

Love the videos! In your opinion is a princess meal better than a character meal? What character meal would you say is a must do? I'm looking for something with great interactions over ambiance. I also have a 4 year old daughter who loves princesses and a 2 year old son who is aware of them but probably wouldn't be excited.

I think food is better at akershush but CRT was magical. We had 730 reservation so we were in park first in castle first and dining area before everyone so I actually got lot of pictures of us inside alone. The earlier reservations are the key or end of the night

Any recommendations for character dining for a first timer kiddo who is shy? My daughter will be 4 in May, loves the parks, meeting characters not so much. She will tell you all day long she is so excited to see her favorite characters but once she sees them, she freezes.

This unfortunately was our EXACT experience at CRT. In and out in 40 minutes, seconds with the princesses, and we were one of the last breakfast seatings so it was clear our food was sitting under a heat lamp or in a hot box for a WHILE 😢 🤴

I have heard lots of reviews about Cinderella being not a good breakfast. I had lunch there in 2023 and it was so good but the Cinderella meet was rushed.

So this is the most random question ever…have restaurants always been ok with you using the disposable place mats? Is it something you pull off of the tables and throw away or does the staff clean it up afterwards?

Yes, I've never had any issues using them at Disney restaurants or even when we go out to eat locally. Most of the time I remove them (personal pref) but I've also had staff say just leave it we can clean it up no problem.

I wish Merida was at Akershus as well but sadly she was only at Cinderella's. The princesses can change though because on our first Akershus experience we had Jasmine instead of Tiana.

In my opinion its kind of niche and a bit of a waste at this point to make cinderella a big deal at any attraction.This eras kids are more into the princesses from the 90s onward and its really crazy to go through all that, booking 60 days in advance and pay all this money for 2 minutes with her at crt

That’s interesting. My three girls favorites are: Sleeping Beauty, Cinderella, and the Evil Queen (my youngest prefers “evil” characters for some reason). They also like the Ariel and Elsa, but they prefer the older movies.
