Ok the YSL one is pretty good. I usually wouldn’t mind spending more money on lipsticks because you’re literally putting something onto your lips and you might even eat your lipstick. So, you basically eat the lipsticks that you apply onto your lips.

Omg I had the Stunna Lip Paint as a Christmas gift, I don't know if mine is faulty but the formula... Sis... It's not that good, my Maybelline one lasts so much longer, eat proof, French kiss proof, drink proof, anything proof, doesn't budge. BUT the Fenty Beauty one oml each time I would just make a tiny kiss on my bf's cheek it would get all over him, when eating it would rub off, and drinking... I would have weird lipstick lines around the corners of my mouth. I am kind off pissed that personally it is jut not good... Only the color and the pigmentation are bomb...

Stila is also the only brand here that is cruelty-free so if you want to support cruelty-free brands, that's definitely the best option!

Estée Lauder Pure Colour Love Lipstick in the shade ‘Burning Love’ is the best red lipstick. End of story. It’s a little pricey but it lasts forever and it looks amazing. It also keeps your lips hydrated and you can get away with not wearing a lip liner cuz it doesn’t drip. It’s not smudge proof but it does stay on pretty long throughout the day

There seems to be a consistent trend with the luxury stuff not being as nice as one would expect for the premium price. She might be biased though, seems like from the outset she already loved the Fenty Beauty lipstick and she was skeptical of the YSL. It is true with some of these designer brands you're literally just paying for the name and pretty packaging so idk.

The sephora one is way better than Fenty’s. The staying power on Fenty’s is so bad and it transfers everywhere!!

I have several of the Maybelline lipsticks and they really do have amazing staying power for drug store brand. There is one particular color that I can never get off no matter what I use and I usually have to layer other lipsticks over it. ☺️ My only problem with it is that it’s really sticky, but for a drug store brand, it’s one of the best. I also have the Stila Beso and It’s one of my favorites. It’s lightweight and has staying power. It’s also a beautiful shade that looks great on various skin tones. The Fenty one is great, too, but I hate how watery it is when it goes on.

my favorite red lip is def the chocolate liquid lip by loreal in tasty ruby. nothing tops the scent, it stays ALL day and is also a pain in the ass to come off. the pigmentation is so good there is no bad thing about it!!!!

Lip balm, blot, apply the liquid lipstick. Dryness problem solved without sacrificing staying power.

I personally like the Maybelline super stay because when I do my program it stays really well and I can trust the color cause there are so many so called reds and the turn out to be a really hot pink.

My favourite is the Jeffree Star Ruby Red. It is truly the best formula and the most comfortable one for me. It is not super long lasting but reapplying it without even taking the whole thing off still works great.

I always wear chapstick on top of matte lipsticks! Works like a charm!

I personally believe that the Two Faced liquid lipstick in Lady Balls is the best long lasting red I've used longevity and comfort wise. I used the Maybelline Pioneer for a theatre show and while it lasted well, it was a nightmare to take off and it was like applying paint (also smelled like it too).

Rimmel Provocalips.....that stuff stays on for days 😳 Tested it once how long it stays, it was 3 days, and when I got it off the same night I had to use baby oil. Great lipstick

I actually prefer liptint, but I do tend to lean towards more natural Korean style makeup.

I feel like for this to have been a 100% non biased and fair "experiment" would be for a blind test. I think things were a bit biased with each one and past experiences/biases are largely swaying her opinion of each lipstick and people can't take this as a 100% honest review with her past biases for or against the lipsticks or their creators/brand or even the pricing.

I just saw your video now. I understand it’s a 4 year old video… but anyone wanting to try the Maybelline Superstay one, please don’t press your lips together during drying time. That’s how it gets separation and lots of tackiness. Even Sephora Collection and all the liquid lipsticks need to dry and set. It takes time. Sephora collection is a very good one. But you have to let it set. And Maybelline sometimes worked for me, but only when I let it set, too. I just don’t like the thickness of the Maybelline one.

I dont mind if my red lippie will fade every time i eat. Naturally thats why its in a tube, for retouching purposes.

I used to love Maybelline pioneer because it lasts throughout the day but I noticed it bunches up and crumbles on the lips if you re-apply more than twice, which is annoying.

I love the sephora lipstick in that exact color because it's the only one that doesn't make me look like a clown, side note I actually use it for dance reviews

I personally don't think this was a very good trial. Eating the same food, good idea. But weather conditions, how much lip contact occurred etc.....that should all be noted. & using a product in a way that it wasn't intended & considering the results viable, unfair. I'd be willing to bet the YSL works amazingly if applied correctly. You just can't expect lipstick results from a stain, regardless of what you think of, basically, the consistency. The YSL combined with the sephora or fenty prob would have been the best. & what about lip liner?!? Who does a red lip with no Liner?
