What’s the difference between a latte and cappuccino??

classic italian style cappuccino foam should be thicc enough that you can't draw latte art with it. if you still can? that's latte. also apparently lots of barista in coffee shop chains like starbucks (friggin amateur) can only use single milk frothing technique and they can't tell the difference between latte and cappuccino. just one visit at their store and i regret everything about my decision. i own several café and bar as a business owner and i take these drinks seriously. classic italian style cappuccino can stay that way and i'm not gonna change it.

I prefer lattes when they’re small, but the foamy cappuccino is also really good😅

That's not a latté. A latté is made with thick foam poured fast to mix the milk, foam and espresso to create a smooth creamy and light tasting coffee. What you made, was a flatwhite.

It is somthing in between a latte and a flatwhite. Cus a flatwhite is made with a double ristretto not a double espresso

@@adamjanosvorosmarty1473 You're not wrong although most people will make it with a double espresso anyway because they either don't know or they want it in a larger cup so they'll make it stronger. However, this one was closer to a flatwhite than a latté.

I'm Italian and I like this cappuccino you offer much more than the classic one, the microfoam blends perfectly with the coffee. Good boy!

It would be a latte if it had less coffee and more milk. Here it’s just a cappuccino with less foam.

The café latte has about twice the amount of milk than the cappuccino but that’s a detail you can just throw out the window… by the way, your latte looks more like a flat white to me.

It all depends what your goal is, to extract the most amount of caffeine or have fun while making your coffee. I am getting a blind shaker to try it out myself, but I don't think that makes wdt ineffective. It will still prevent channeling if you have a mediocre grinder
