We fly in same day usually. Almost always no issues. Until a couple of days ago in Miami. Standing for 15 minutes watching the last few straggling bags go round and round the carousel and not seeing mine Then checking the United app which says my bag wasnt on the plane Off to baggage office where the clerk says my bag is still sitting at home airport Its 11:30 with 2pm all aboard Mad dash to Ross downtown Ross is not designed for people in a rush. But since United is paying I didnt have to focus on price. I managed to get enough clothes to last a week. Then next door to CVS for toiletries. Made it to terminal at 1:40. There were a surprisingly large number of people still boarding.

Sheesh that was cutting it close. When I sailed Jubilee we flew in the day before on Southwest and someone in our only received one bag. Southwest was trying to tell her they would give her a $150 credit and we were like no she is getting on a ship tomorrow. Her bag was chilling in Atlanta…how we don’t know because their connection was Orlando. Happy you were able to get things situated and get to the port.

I like some of the differences you mentioned and pointed out between the two ships. I still haven’t convinced myself whether or not I’m into VV or not. Yeah that trolley was fun to ride on the way but coming back the wait and the crowded trolley probably isn’t for everyone

Hey C. One of these days we hope to sail Virgin. Was surprised to see the games especially Cootie as no kids on the ship. Oh no you missed the pajama party but at least got some needed rest. Interesting pre bingo. 😂. That random piece looks like ice cream 🤷🏻‍♀️. Oh Mateo took over the show 🕺.

They have food stalls called The Galley where you can either walk up to be passed items or you can be served at your seat.

I'm not trying to be mean by no means.. One of the things that VV stands superior over all other cruise lines they have no buffet. You can literally "if you want" go your whole cruise and never pick up a plate
