I was having the hardest time trying to figure out what the difference was between the Chisec Three-Pocket Scrub Top, and the Leon Three-Pocket Scrub Top. Either way, I ended up picking up the Leon scrub top on black friday, and now that I have it in hand, I wanted to make this video comparing these two tops. Hopefully this video will help you with your purchasing decisions if you are interested in picking up some FIGS gear.

- both have a V-neck opening. Chisec v-neck is just a LITTLE deeper by 1/2 inch
- Chisec has 3 pockets, 1 on the chest and 2 on the sides. whereas the Leon has 2 pockets on the chest, and I am struggling to figure out where the so called 3rd pocket is
- Chisec scrub top has a very slight scooped hem. Leon scrub top has a more straight hem

Both scrub tops are categorized as a classic / tailored fit
Chest from pit to pit is 20 inches.

There is a 3rd pocket in the Leon. It’s a small pocket to specifically slide your pen in just above the FIGS logo

Maybe 3rd pocket is the little pen pocket

I guess they count the pen sleeve as the third pocket for the Leon just bought the chisec love the way they look with the hidden pockets

Thank you so much for this review! I needed it as I usually get the Chisec but they only had the Leon's in M available in Dark Harbor and I wanted to pick it up before the 20% sitewide discount ended. I don't really use the side pockets as I always tuck my scrubs in my pants and as a dentist I just find tucking in more comfortable so I felt confident in picking up the Leon's instead.

Hey nice content. Just wanted to add that the added weight of the Chisec could be due to the added fabric needed to make the side pockets. Otherwise, these should be similar in quality. Also, I find that the Chisec has a slightly deeper V neck.

Came here to find out where the 3rd pocket is on the Leon's. Im going to go with the Leon. I hate those side pockets. I tuck my scrubs in and it adds so much bulkiness around the waist area and I don't use them.

No brainer why FIGS still labelling the Leon - 3 pocket scrub top where in fact it’s only 2. I just purchased 3 sets of this only to find out it has almost 1 pocket scrub top. Made me so dumb looking for other 2 pockets :)

Hi super thankful for this video! Just wanted to ask, im 5'11 and about 145lbs so a bit skinny athletic physique. What do you recommend for the scrub top (leon) and pants (slim tansen) for my size? my waist is about 31-32 from my other pants. Just worried on getting the wrong size :(

If I were you I’d personally would go Medium slim scrub top, and Small for pants. ‘Regular or short’ tansen pants will depend on your inseam length. The size guide is relatively accurate, so if in doubt, take your own measurements and reference the sizing chart . Good luck!

Hi I’m 5’10 and 175-180 pounds. I usually wear 32 by 30 pants and I was wondering if you have a size recommendation for me. Originally I was thinking Large too and Medium (shorter) pants but i’m not 100% sure

That should work 👍 large top will give you a more roomy fit , whereas medium will probably be more fitted. As for pants, medium should work for you

I'm about 5'7 170 lbs, Waist is about 33-35 varying on brand. What would you recommend in size? I've been looking at medium. I usually wear my clothes looser than usual so I typically get Large or XL on a normal top from nike or any brand.

Yes then I’d probably go with medium. Just know that for the pants tho, if you go medium (recommended for your waist size) you’ll probably have a lot of extra fabric at the bottom. I made a video on altering FIGS joggers also, if you need a reference for that. Cheers

I think the Leon would be better if you prefer to tuck it in, you won't be able to access those side pockets if you do.

Hello! I love this review. I have a question regarding the sizes. Im around 5'5 and weigh 150 pounds, but im a bit fat on my bottom and thighs (i know that im short but wouldnt you think medium is the best size for me since most of my fat is on my bottom). Sorry for such question and would appreciate an answer !!

If you’re most concerned about waist/hip size, then it’s probably best to size up for comfort. I’m also 150-155 but small (men’s) was just fine. It’s hard to tell you without knowing your dimensions, but their size guide should help answer that I think. Medium will definitely run long though, but you can always cuff or hem your pants I suppose. Good luck!

I only have 3 pairs of the slim tansen joggers, but I have removed the jogger cuffs on all of them because it looks too poofy lol. I made a tutorial video on how I did that, but I definitely am curious to try their other non-jogger pants👍

Wasn't a fan of the chisec's side pockets personally. They tend to flare out and make you appear wider than you are lol.

Lol, yeah they definitely make them look less stylish, but those pockets are very functional for my needs haha

Small pants should be good, but the top might be a bit on the snug side 🤷‍♂️ hope it works out for you!

Mediums😺, but consider the slim fit. I’m 5’8” 150 lbs, wearing Smalls but in a classic fit. The medium might be better for the length of your torso. Good luck !

I agree with Dang on the Medium. I'm 5 9 and 155ish, medium fits well. the medium slim doesn't on me, but you're a bit taller and have less weight so maybe the slim version would work. IF you're hitting the gym and workout your shoulders and chest often, then consider just getting medium to feel comfortable.

Small and short Tansen joggers. I’m 5’ 8 and I actually tailored my pants to remove the jogger cuffs. Made a tutorial of that sometime in the past if you’re interested 👍
