The only critique I have for this ranking is with mch placement. I mean, the skill animations have so many flashy jumping moves. AND the robot friend is Queen. For me, this job has so much potential to climb the ranks even to the limp wrist category.

Girly pop vibes aside, I LOVE your analysis of the jobs identity and how that appeals to players. BUT OMG HOW COULD YOU DO DRK SO DIRTY!? That is a limp wrist class if there ever was one. Maybe it's the class story that does it for me but I just love the whole rugged individualist, don't let the haters hold you down vibe of the class. It feels very resonant with LGBT culture in general because a lot of us don't have the support of our loved ones and are out doing it on our own to be true to our ownselves and that is what DRK is all about.

I play a super tall male Elezen but a lot of my glams tend to be rather androgynous. I utilize the 2B thigh high boots a LOT and I have managed to make my aiming classes very limp wrist due to Amon's hat. Let's be real, that feathery chapeau is big queen energy even on a guy.

This is such a creative idea for a ffxiv video, I clicked on it SO fast.

You have such a good way of describing the roleplay reasons of why people like characters. I always found it hard to put into words. People never understood when I tell them how important class fantasy is to me liking a job/class. A certain aesthetic or a vibe will allow me to get over parts of gameplay I don't really enjoy and it's usually my number one reason I don't continue playing something.

As a straight cis man who mains a White Mage in a pastel pink robe, strappy sandals, and a floral crown, I am proud to own my place on this list. Actually, with the exception of Sage and Samurai, this could almost be a tier list of all my favourite jobs. Counterpoint on the Sage: Most of the glams are just the same things any healer can wear, the only exception is the weapon. Being a newer job, Sage has the smallest selection right now, but there are some really nice ones. You mentioned Isnae Phis (the pink fae wing looking one). There's also the Palaka Pendulums, basically green peacock feathers from Vanaspati. I forget the name, but there's another one that is just some nice little round orbs that kind of look like Christmas tree ornaments. They're simple but very pretty, and they dye really well. I hope Dawntrail will give us some more variety in Sage nouliths. There's a lot of untapped potential to this unique weapon type that the designers have yet to explore.

As a RDM main, i can tell you red is better used as a highlight instead of your main colour. Your skills already have a lot of those tones, so use something to contrast wirh rhem and make those flashy poses pop.

I worked so hard to find a SGE 'aesthetic' and I settled on Cowboy Doctor. Wake Doctor's Coat, big ol white cowboy hat, white denim, and Nabaath Pendulums that look like flintlock pistols. Girlypop? Not likely, but definitely not a basic Sage.

I feel that mch has so much potential to do better, but there's just something holding it back. Like don't even get me started on the ugly toolbox mch always have to carry around. Not you clocking me. Most of my mains are in the top two categories xD I was super happy with the SMN and NIN ranking, I was scared you were gonna rank them lower. For HW I was known as the Pink NIN, I was that gurllll, but then NIN's rotation got too busy so I switched to RDM for two expansions before switching to SMN. I only ever play healer and tank in non-savage/extreme content and while I agree with this tier list, I will say though that my SGE is 100% girlypop. I went with a NieR aesthetic, and you can't tell me 2B doesn't slay. I do tend to switch between WHM and SGE though. Anyways, loved the video! 💛

I personally think theres some great potential for viper. Its never going to be a cutesy vibe that works for it, but when i see viper Im already thinking of glamours close to Katarina from LoL, or an old favorite of mine ; Rogue from Untold legends Dark kingdom. Its an old PS3 release game that was kind of shoddy, but Rogue specifically had some cvnty animations and abilities as the game's designated femme fatale. I could only hope that once we get our hands on the class, we will find some more femme/acrobatic esc. fantasies.
