I agree with you about the importance of reading I am not addicted to social media. However, sometimes I have difficulty continuing to read. I love reading, but I do not feel a desire to continue reading, but that is okay. I try to read from time to time. There's a book I read not long ago that's a really good book called (Status Anxiety by Alain de Botton) Thanks for this great video. I enjoyed watching it very much

Sounds like a cool book, I’ll have to look into it. I’d say the desire to read will come with finding the right books.

@@shahdhassan6288 The right book is just whatever book you're interested in at the moment. A good book for me is whatever book is full of things I want to learn.

The point of reading books is cultural literacy, an increase in empathy, and the ability to communicate better through writing and speaking due to increased vocabulary. 1. Reading a book like Les Miserable or A Tale of Two Cities exposes an individual to aspects of history, philosophy, geography, politics, etc. 2. Research shows that those who read a great deal of classic literature have more empathy for others and are more altruistic in their decisions as they have lived the lives of others different from them through reading. 3. Reading challenging literature increases an individual's vocabulary through the use of context clues.

Love the video man💜I’m starting to appreciate books and their knowledge always felt like they were a burden in school. Had a slow start but now I reading everyday it’s an amazing feeling . What book would you recommend for fantasy adventure, self help is an amazing genre tho I also want to be thrown in a fantasy world time to time

I’m not too into fantasy but I love reading about ancient cultures like Egypt which to me almost seems like fantasy.

There's a bunch for fantasy: If you want star wars/marvel but in books, then Brandon Sanderson's stormlight archive is good. Huge 1000 page books but with big fanbases online Literary stuff, Lord of the Rings, much slower than the films but more full of character and still highly relevant towards life in general Dark, Edgy, crunchy stuff - Joe Abercrombie's first law series And weird, off the walls, hyper unique - China Mieville's Perdido Street Station
