Fantastic video. Puts Alot of scattered info into one for financial planning. It would have been gud to maybe add on the number of kilos of feed required at each stage, chick stage, grower up to point of lay.

How about the water tank and pipes if you are using automated? And what do you use to protect the chickens when it’s raining heavily and windy at same times since the house is open? Thank you Doctor, I truly appreciate the work you do and you’re motivating a lot of people!

Sure, a lot of cost (mainly fixed) are left out. Example you need the water system, water sources and water tanks. You wont afford buying water from the water authorities otherwise you will end up raising the cost.

I would like to know the quantity of starter mesh a bird will consume from Day old chick till 8 week and the quantity of growers feed the birds will consume from week 8 till 18 weeks. the math on doing two floors for the same amount of birds should be 10m*8m... not 10*4. one side has to be constant, only one side to be halved. otherwise a good video

I believe he is not using any breed but hybrids. Most egg layer hybrids are based on Rhode Island or Leghorn (Livorno).
