This is the complete guide for everything you need to know about food in gokarna, lets take you through all of them:
1. Pai's hotel: Best dosas in all of Gokarna, this is the ultimate breakfast place. Dosas are served hot and (served best) with tea. Don't confuse this with pai's restaurant, there are 2 branches. Its affordable and yum!
2. Kristoff's cafe: I swear, I SWEAR this place has the best, most authentic french food. Not baguettes, proper french cuisine. Do not miss trying the onion soup
3. Half-way home: Local, authentic kannada food here! You have got to try their banana buns, I legit crave for it even back home in Mumbai. Their kombucha's are the best way to finish your meal

I discovered Pai hotel nearing in to the end of my 15 day stay at Gokarna. That place is much needed for budget travel as most the places at the beach are super expensive.
