Any chance of having an episode dedicated to setting up the Sky-Walker Star Adventurer GTi for the solar eclipse? I just received my star tracker and have no previous experience using one. Or is there somewhere that I can learn how to do it (I am finding there is a lot to learn and am quickly feeling overwhelmed). Thanks in advance.

Hi Katherine, we suggest checking out the solar eclipse series done by Sky-Watcher buddy Nico Carver over at the Nebula Photos channel: www.youtube.com/@NebulaPhotos/search?query=Preparing%20for%20the%202024%20total%20solar%20eclipse. There are five parts to it (so far), but you should be able to find what you're looking for in there.

How to set up Sky-Watcher Star Adventurer GTi so it doesn't do the meridian flip during totality? I will be in Texas during eclipse and I am afraid that the mount will do meridian flip during totality. How to force the meridian flip or disable it?

The GTi can handle a few degrees past meridian so if you are getting close try flipping the meridian before hand.
