Well, I finally started taking my store seriously mid-month and it’s my best month! For summer I do more tutoring in language and math. Many parents want to keep those skills up at that time. I’d assume this summer tutoring will be in high demand due to people being concerned about learning loss due to COVID.

My town doesn't do much for St. Patrick's Day. I just want to say I love your newest resource, Ireland Virtual Field Trip to Learn about Irish Music. So cute! How did you make the preview? We may need a video about that! 😃 And yes, February was a slow month on TpT for me.

I loved your dog walking around in the background! So cute! February was also my best month but only by four dollars, so I don't think that counts. I did a bunch of things on Civil Rights Vocab for my kiddos with processing problems, that actually sold okay. I would love it if you would do videos on social media, and focus them specifically on business for me, the worst millennial in the world. I don't use it in my personal life, otherwise, I wind up losing my mind and getting nothing done. So when people tell me to use facebook or Pinterest to promote myself, I get overwhelmed because I have not used either one seriously since high school.

For February, the first two weeks were great sales wise. Then after that, it dropped off a cliff. Still earned a bit, but based off of the beginning of the month, I thought it would be my best month ever. December 2020 still holds that record surprisingly enough. A lot of my products are digital, so wondering if the transition of teachers going digital to hybrid/in-person is affecting it.

Interesting, but I've also heard many people say similar things. Do you have a lot of Valentine's Day products? That could effect it.

@@BeccaDavis I did have a bit of Valentine's stuff up, but honestly they didn't make up a whole lot of my sales for the first two weeks. These first two days of March have been insanely slow as well, but America Reads day was today, which I don't do any of that due to trademarks. Will be interesting to see for St. Patrick's Day, as I have lots of products for it.

I've never celebrated St. Patrick's Day. Sounds like a great time. In the area of Virginia where I live, it's not a huge deal (or maybe I just live under a rock). Would love to know more about it from a personal perspective. Articles online don't seem to capture the spirit of holidays in general.

On a personal level, I don't do much. Mom used to always make Ruebens and we sometimes went to the parades. But as a city, it's a big deal.

I don't personally celebrate St Pats day but some Irish pubs here in Australia make a big event of it with green beer etc. My Feb sales were half of my Jan sales. I uploaded 14 new products in January and 8 in Feb (has been a crazy month with life transitions). For March I really need to work out what might sell as I am planning a career change from nursing to Speech Pathology. My TPT store is a product of my homeschooling so I guess Eclectic takes a bit longer to get some traction!!

Thanks for sharing about St. Patrick's Day! It can be more difficult without a niche. Definitely look at the products that have sold and see if you can do something similar or that goes with it.

Hi Becca! I love your channel! Can you help me understand claiming a website on Pinterest? I don't currently have a blog, but I have a TPT store. Can I "claim" my TPT store on Pinterest, or do I need to create a blog? I am very confused.

Hi! Claiming a website means you own it. So no, you cannot claim your TPT store because the website belongs to TPT. Sorry!

Today, I got my FIRST 3 star review😂 I'm not going to lie I actually cried. I had only gotten 4 or 5 stars. I think the buyer gave me a 3 star review because she said she had to change most of the wording (it was editable) to work for her students. Why do I feel so sad 😂😭

Yeah. It hurts. There's no telling really why buyer's leave the reviews they leave. I had a buyer say "Great product!" and then leave a 2/5. Keep putting out great content, and when applicable, use the reviews to make your products better. Have a great year!

What's a real killer is when you get 3 stars and the comment is "great product". One seller leaves the response: thank you for leaving feedback, what could I do to make it 5 stars? I really like that!
