Wow. I wanted to learn the book of Enoch and every time i started it, i would always stop it after 20-30 minutes. Either i finished my 30 min walk, something came up, i fell asleep. To think it was the Lord keeping me from listening to heresy just amazes me and makes me love my King and my God all the more. the word of God, the Bible has all authority, the book of Enoch was an interesting read and I thought the version I read was backing up what is written in the Bible.

Amen. Another good point I've heard is that Enoch would have spoken and written a lost language since he lived and was taken by God before the destruction of the Tower of Babel when God confused the people's languages.

I read part of the book of enoch many years ago and i remember reading it saying that the Sabbath was Sunday so, right there that told me that there was lies in that book! Anyone who studies the bible knows Saturday is the Sabbath NOT SUNDAY!

This teaching is much needed. I came to Jesus from the Flat Earth/Biblical Cosmology movement and it is full of Gnostics pushing this book. I knew it was some kind of deception but just wasn't sure exactly what it was. I never read it. Most people use it to "flesh out" Genesis 6 but now it's clear it should not be used to flesh out anything.

yes pastor ur good. but the book of enoch contains some geographic info and historical events that are probable. perhaps someone altered it, just like the book of jasher. perhaps somehow this book is not 100% preserved.

when i read the book of enoch all i got was the story of the fallen and how it is being pushed as the ancient alien / ancient astronaut theory everything else seem fishy. KJV is the only word to go by in my opinion, what do think about that pastor?...

Great, I've always had a bad feeling about that book the moment I heard the name.

There is a reason the Holy Spirit did not put these books with the rest of the books in the Bible. He did not want them in there, we should trust the Holy Spirit. The word of God was written by men that were inspired by the Holy Spirit. The Holy Spirit put the Bible together the way it is now, and forever. When we read these books we are adding to the word of God which we should never do.

Okay, I can be agree with the idea that the author of Enoch copied from Jude, but what was the source of Jude for that quote of Enoch? Torah? Talmud? Revelation?...

pastor it is an important question.. god wants to come to earth, teach us how to live and die for us in the cross to wash away our sins.. this is his will right?? he gave his one and only son to die for us.. as u can see in bible, judas is the one who betrayed jesus.. one day jesus must be betrayed, held captive in the hands of his non believers, he must die to clean our sins.. it is his will.. judas helped his will to be done by showing him to the soldiers.. but why did jesus tell his deciples that there is a satan among you(indirectly indicating judas) he knew that judas is going to betray him. it is his will.. but y did he tell judas as satan.. where do u think judas will be aftr his death.. heaven or hell?? pls make a video about this.. plssss..

Concerning the historical claim of Giants in the book of enoch, is there some truth to it?

The Book of Enoch is not part of the Bible Canon, or the Inspired Scriptures because it contradicts The Bible. The Book of Enoch claims to be written by Enoch (7th from Adam), but this is false. In fact, Enoch is a collection of several books written over hundreds of years. The claim that Enoch wrote the book is false. It contains numerous contradictions with the Bible, and cannot be considered as part of the inspired collection of writings that complete the Bible record. This is why The Book of Enoch was rejected by ancient Judaism, and by early Church Fathers, scribes, and theologians. Also, there are many, many writings about history of the Jews, one such book called “The Wars of the Jews” and while they contain many historical events, some of which are mentioned in the Bible, they are not part of the “Inspired” collection of writings that comprise the Bible. So, while interesting, it is not fact!

I read the book of enoch and I found what u saying is true, and is not only apocalipsis and isaiah, the talk about of the entire bible, exodus, josue, Samuel, when I saw that I was like what a hell is this? That dude just copycat the entire escripture.
