Our Story:
We are six years into a seven year effort of transforming 20 acres of "Piney Grove" in Northwest Florida into our dream homestead/mini farm to be filled with animals and joy. We plan to have a variety of miniature critters on our pastures, raise free-range chickens, grow fish in our pond, garden, plant fruit and nut trees, and harvest wild game. Our goal is
to escape the stresses of corporate life and embrace all that country living

I have had a 33 HP Kubota and traded it for a case 60 HP. Both with no cab. I love the Case.

We've been Kubota owners for a long time, but we that doesn't mean we wouldn't consider other brands!

I have experience with the John Deere 64-91 HP and kubota 70 HP. Cab and open tractors. To me the John Deere is much more operator friendly. But it’s all personal preference both have been reliable

@@PineyGroveHomestead it has its place and advantages for sure. All of the bigger tractors I’ve dealt with are standard transmission or shuttle shift. My uncle has a small one with hydrostatic. He really likes but wished he’d bought little more hp

I don't know Brad, in 2018 i bought a new John Deere 30 HP. Their real nice machines but I had a lot of electrical issues and hydraulic problems. I would choose the kubota over the J.D. I don't regret trading my J.D. for my New Holland that I have now. The more bells and whistles sometimes are more problems.

We've had no issues with Kubotas, but for the right deal would consider a JD when we upsize. If we ever upsize!

Deere just came out with the 4075R with a cab and hydrostatic transmission. If you need PTO horsepower it stands out for that size tractor as Kubota's largest hydro is 62 hp, Kioti's is 60 hp, and TYM's is 55.

I'm not as familiar with the JD models but a 4 series with 75hp sounds awesome. I was looking at a 4044 with cab last night. If we switched to Deere, that would probably be the one we would get. Thanks for watching.

Heck yeah! But I was too nervous driving it to think about drinking! Such a nice machine. Diesel engine sounds totally different from a Kubota diesel.

Comparing a tractor you don't know "how to make it go", to one you've put 1400 hours on is not valid. You should have at least waited after the week of JD use to do the video. BTW, always use Cat1 to Cat 2 bushings on the 3 point.
