Only thing stressed me was the building misplacement

what stresses me out about this game is when people can't snap a simple stone floor 2x2 for no apparent reason

Still trying to recover 2 corpses in the mystlands, and it all started because a buddy pissed of the lil dwarves.

Going to a new biome was honestly one of the highlights for me. I play in a group and one of the toughest biomes we dealt with was the plains biome. We had scouted it before and got destroyed by deathsquitos. So we planned well in advance. Me and five other people sailed two longships full of supplies and sailed to a pretty large plains biome. We found a nice flat area near the coast and feeling like a viking raid, we jumped off and quickly dealt with any hostile squitos. The squad defended me, while I unloaded supplies and build our staging outpost for the plains exploration. Quickly built a nice little crafting hall with beds and setup a small palisade wall that surrounded it. It was probably one of the most fun things I've done in that game.

You know what's stressful? Exploring deep in the mountains, getting killed and realizing you respawned at a mountain camp you hastily slapped together and all you stored in the chest was about 8 pieces of wood, some rocks, and a couple mushrooms.

Don’t rush the biomes, take your sweet sweet time

Just look at the edge you want to build off of. It's easy to place that way.

My only advice would be, learn the biome and take your time, dont jump straight into combat with multiple foes, over preparing and caution is key.

Oh man back in the day when my buddies and I got our swamp key from the Black Forest boss, we kept getting our asses handed to us trying to find a crypt, on our way back out of there with our cart full of iron ore we were all like “F*** the swamp!” But then we made iron armor and then it was fun because then we couldn’t die to being poisoned one time. Such is the way of Valheim!

I just started playing and I cannot tell you how stressed out I was during my first encounter with the swamp biome lol

The most stressful things in this game are encountering your first wraith, and deathsquitos you didn't see coming up and stinging you from behind.

The Queen Boss fight its extremely stressful especialy when playing solo, more than a challenge it is pure stress

Wait to you get to the Mistlands lol

Hopping into mistlands with the thought am I gonna die now or in a few minutes... one way to find out.

Only thing tha stresses me out is traveling by boat for a half an hour and dying to a deathsquito that had a bad day and decides to fly 300 feet off the shore to my boat

you don't know stress until you start building your main castle in the mistlands....unaware you just built right in between 2 gjall spawn zones......bro literally EVERY TIME I went back thru the portal back to base I was raided and my base would be bombed. I spent SOOOOO much time rebuilding and pushing the spawn zone boundaries constantly building work benches and ballistae.....that was months of work and I only got half the castle done before my homie shut down the server due to life getting in the way.

For some reason this was the clip that made me start valheim a couple weeks ago, glad to see building wasn’t hard and he’s just butt

What stresses me is building base takes longer that finishing game.

Just today I died in the middle of the mountains…. It was a pain in the ass to get my items back, and probably the most stressful 3 hours I had in a while, but the satisfaction I got after getting everything back was amazing

Totally agree! That's when I have to put the game down for a brief time and walk away. Otherwise it becomes unfun and not a game anymore. I always come back, especially if I happen across a video or reddit post with a hint or tip to help beat that really tough spot and see if it works for me.

I was never stressed I enjoyed the game every hour I played

I mean the stressful part to me is the fact that each biome’s equipment prepares you for the biome you just finished. Nobody can convince me there’s any reason to take silver equipment to anywhere other than the swamp

When I used melee and didn't have parrying down I used to get stressed when going into new biomes losing the hard earned skill points sucks but eventually changed to bow 😅 all gud now just recently got the magic stuff and wow it's a game changer especially the feather cape it takes away and fall damage and allows you to sore or glide from high places

After you beat the queen the fog should go away in mistlands permanently

I think the only real times I remember being stressed were the swamp and mistlands. The iron farming rate is too slow for how many items need it. The mistlands is difficult to navigate before you get the feather cape.

I know what you mean. the first steps into a new danger can be as off putting as it is exhilarating. you get used to being the master of one place only to go back to feeling the fear again in another. Valheim is not a very casual experience sometimes.

I completely I agree it’s one of the reasons I never moved on from the swamp biome. Recently I’ve came back to the game determined, for me the the main challenge is the logistics of moving certain materials to new or old bases that is the pain for me

Consider the sneak attack, young warrior, and level it up. Take note sneak and rushing into battle do not mix well.

Its the spawns off camera that are annoying, goodluck if you forget and leave the camera zoomed in certain places. I don't mind the black forest so much cause you get the effect of the forest coming alive and attacking you but the rest of the biome's it stats to get very tedious like the game is harrassing you because it can kind of feel to it. When you spin around and catch a Fuling popping pout of thin air your like.. Its a different game on multiplayer but I wont do solo any more.

Imagine dying in some far place without any way to retrieve your loot like in the middle of bigass plains or in ye middle of mistlands and you don't have your previous armor anymore resources for anything else let alone ship
