Excellent advice! I was chided for painting one particular subject, women of color who exuded beauty along side nature. I was even accused of being GAY (nothing wrong with that) - though I wasn’t, and it annoyed me, I’ve nonetheless continued painting the same subject matter and have done very well. What got me stuck on that particular subject matter was whenever I went to museums there were VERY FEW paintings of the subject, and when there were, they were most often painted in a negative, course manner. There are too many beauty women, and I wanted to represent them. I got hooked on your channel, initially because of the water soluble oils, and stayed because of your energy and wonderful ideas and techniques. Thank you for your contribution to making the world a better and MORE BEAUTIFUL PLACE. There’s beauty all around, if only we could stop and “see.” 😊
