That's why we say that only a Rockstar Game can Can hit a Rockstar Game. Now, next GTA will be the first game to give 80 to 90% hit to RDR2.

Rockstar is a company that makes games look exactly like the trailer. I highly support them for this, as a fan of RDR2 since 2019, and a hardcore 6 year fan of the gta series

Both are incredible and well detailed. Rockstar remains the best open world dev in my opinion. GTA 5 might not be better than rdr2 in terms of details but better than most recent Open world games.

Drain pipes work in Max Payne 3. But this detail and many other details and features weren't included in GTA 5 because it being an open world game and managing to run on PS3 and Xbox 360.

The Max Payne saga has better interaction with objects than GTA. You can even flush the toilet.

@@charlyg-2590 I already told in my comment why Max Payne franchise had more features and detailing than GTA, because GTA till GTA5 had to provide massive open world sandbox within the limitations of PS3, Xbox 360 and old PCs. That's why many features had to be cut, but since RDR2, we had PS4, Xbox One and high end PCs, so that all features and details have been made possible. On the other hand, Max Payne franchise is a franchise of linear games so that they could provide detailings because map and environment was much smaller, only limited to how much the mission needs.

@@charlyg-2590 Max Payne games are boring and overated. Only part 3 is the 8/10 in the franchise. Scoring GTA 5 story mode a 9.5/10 wouldn't be exaggeration. Don't compare

Red dead 2 will still win. People seem to forget that detailing 100s of cars, boats, planes, & buildings cost money. GTA 6 has a 2 billion dollar budget, & will probably still be less detailed.

With modern games, the comparison is kinda of fair look how Saints Row is compared to Gta V. Recent game but buggy, and the mechanics and physics are not good. Depends if the devs spent time well irregardless of what year the game was released.

At a certain point the palm trees don’t even exist lol In red dead, every individual branch has physics. It’s wild, cuz you can ride a horse, hit a branch, and you’ll get caught in the branch and fall off. However, I do agree, both games have absolutely amazing physics.

if they had just worked on gta 6 instead of rdr2, then we wouldve had it sooner, no one plays rdr2 anymore , just one time and done, online bad, no re-playability, heck they still buy gta 5 to this day, waste of time in my opinion , the wild west gets booring too fast, now we have to wait years for gta 6, 2025

Buddy, red dead redemption two may just be the greatest game ever released. The depth and complexity of the story is easily unrivaled by any game in existence, the physics are unarguably the best out of the many games out there, and the game is an amazingly replayable game full of Easter eggs and secrets. Yes, the online mode sucks, but the campaign is the greatest story ever told. Red Dead is objectively one of, if not the best game of all time. Not to mention an extremely immersive and enjoyable open world full of things to do. Every interaction can be done differently, assuring a unique experience every time you play. Don’t ever spit out absolute word horseshit like this again.
