He is outstandingly good, made even better with the obsession with smaller players over the last few years meaning there are few defenders or midfielders who can block him or his runs, along with keepers who do not catch but parry the ball. Usually into his path. His talent, his strength and his brain will ensure he continues to break records. I love watching him and I am not a city fan.

Smaller players are actually more suitable to be forwards. They can have better dribbles and it's harder to put them on the floor due to their lower centre of gravity. Haaland is a beast.

He is currently maybe my favourite player, love it when someone has everything to become the best striker the world has ever seen. it is completely possible. I used to follow Manchester City because of Dzeko, now I am back because of Haaland and Haaland no disrespect to Dzeko, is a completely higher calibre of player. Anyone who loves football has to love Haaland.

I believe the thing we all love about players like Haaland is that they aren't wasting their incredible talent, they "work hard" to become even better and destroy records. We are used to see so many young talents lose their focus or simply not living up to the hype, so any exception of that makes us happy :)

I would not say that is what separates him from the rest.. he is just naturally capable of doing things that other players cant. anyone that good becomes an idol figure for the striker position and an ambassador for football.

But the undeniable truth is also that many incredibly talented players waste their careers because they don't have the right mindset to become an absolute champion. That's what makes players like Haaland or Cristiano Ronaldo so special, they know that they have to build their own success, talent is just the base. Another factor is being smart, they don't just train like crazy, any idiot could do that. They have clear strategies for every aspect in order to get where they want to be.

Haaland doesn't need to drop deep in City as he did sometimes in Dortmund as the other players can cover that aspect for him. That plus his high concentration (due to meditation) and viking genes - he's a combination of a poacher and target man. Definitely foreseeing him breaking more records in the future.

Why does Erling score so many goals ? Obviously he has great football intelligence. But please see the last Foden goal (6-1) in the match against Man U. A great pass from Haaland right ?
