So happy for a new video today! My hubby and I loved watching yours and matts videos! He passed away last week and your videos are the only thing really interesting to me. He was a "don't have it, then make it" kind of guy. Southern UT is on my "In honor of Scott" bucket list! It's so gorgeous on the screen, real life must be amazing!

Great recovery!! This was clearly operator error on the Sherp owner's part. Managing appropriate tire pressure is KEY along with proper angles of attack with any Sherp. Max tire pressure is 3.5 PSI on these 71" tires but you can run them clear down to zero and still drive on them. Sherp actually measures the pressure in mmHG to be more precise, Zero to max around 170 mmHg. From the look of the tires, once it was on all fours again, he was not properly inflated for what he was trying to do. The hard part about tire pressure with the Sherp is that all four tires are interconnected via the tubular chassis and when too much pressure is applied to one tire, it forces air pressure to the others. Very helpful when hitting a rock, stump, log, etc at speed, but can create a roll point at the wrong angle. Best way to avoid a roll is to square up before coming down a slope. Sherp Pro XT has only a couple major weaknesses: a max terrain angle of 35 degrees, coming out of water back onto ice with too much weight in the rear, and snow or mud that saddlebag the vehicle. I'm not an expert, but I do have a Sherp Pro XT . . . plus I did stay in a Holiday Inn Express last night.

@Graeme McKay, Sherps are made in Russia for the Russian terrain, snow, ice and lots of swamp, muddy water and fallen trees. They are made from sheet Aluminum which is why they're that shape, boxy with no compound curves. The 44hp 1.5ltr Kobata diesel engine is very low in the chassis and drives through a 5 speed manual transmission, there's nothing to connect to, high on the body because it is lightweight sheet Aluminum with no real rollbars the heaviest things on the Sherp are it's tires at 220lbs each and that's not including the diesel fuel storage containers in the centre of the wheels. Top speed of 28mph, they're excellent at what they have been designed to do..... but perhaps not great at the extreme angles of rock crawling!

What was the point in bringing a sherp out onto rocks? Its literally the only terrain that they aren't designed for

Saw the video title and was thinking how in the heck did someone get a Sherp stuck.. Then saw the Sherp.. ohhhh.. THAT's how you get a Sherp stuck.. Glad everyone and the Sherp is okay, those things are pretty cool.

Funny that a vehicle that's amphibious, made for mud, snow, water and maybe sand, ends up rolled because the owner tries to do some rock crawling Only in america i guess 😅

Great job as always guys! =) But whoever the engineer was that designed that Sherp should be fired -- what a horrible design, super top heavy. A high stack height with a narrow base ... what could go wrong! LOL

Thanks for the video again folks. There's a fellow from Saskatchewan who has a Sherp channel here. It's great for moose hunting and getting into some good pike fishing spots. Always thought it might be a little tippy in the mountains though - now we know. Stay well all.

Very nice recovery! [I didn't follow all of the rigging setup--bumper and around those high-flotation tires-- but it sure did the trick]. That Sherp is an interesting vehicle--looks like it could really traverse mushy soil/sand/mud, but seems it would be 'tippy' on slopes and inclines.
