Obviously quite a bit colder in northern Canada than at the coast of arctic Norway. Light conditions are much the same though 😇 BTW: May I ask what you are doing for a living - i.e. what job you got over there ?

I believe the oceans stays open all year around where you are? I work as a construction project manager.

@@amoriowoods4727 No ice out at sea, but still ice at some inner fjords where there is a freshwater layer on top of the salt seawater.

I was always under the impression it was just pitch black 24-7 that time a year.

Nope! I think of you head further north you'd get a few days that are pitch black but we always get at least a glow on the horizon.

I live in Cambridge Bay which is not much bigger than the the community I traveled to in the video. I work as a construction project manager.

Hello from Hungary. I'm just wondering how people heat their homes there. As far as I know there are no trees in that region to use them as fuel.

All oil fired boilers. The fuel ship comes in once a year and fuel is stored at a tank farm and delivered to individual tanks at each home every few weeks
