"What the World Needs" - Isolated Vocals Backing from "Ride the Cyclone"

ABOUT:
Ride the Cyclone is a musical with music, lyrics and book by Jacob Richmond and Brooke Maxwell. It tells the story of the members of St. Cassian High School chamber choir of Uranium City, Saskatchewan, who perish on a faulty rollercoaster called "The Cyclone".

Let's be clear what we're listening to here. These are the ORIGINAL tracks (that we worked on for MONTHS in the studio). There is a software out there that removes the lead vocals from tracks, giving you instant karaoke, just a little 'flangy'. (Just in case anyone actually cares how things are made anymore...) Our licenser, Broadway Licensing, will have tracks ready for licensing that you can obtain through the proper channels if you're hoping to do your own productions. All the best. -Brooke

Good to know! It’s always fun to just be able to sing them with the backing tracks now and then for your own enjoyment, especially with songs as amazing as this one here!

if the official backing tracks were available without having to pay the entire licensing fee as i'd only want them for karaoke purposes i'd totally buy them!

Hi. I don't mean to be THAT person, but please add Ricky's disability back into the script. Every person is different and special, and thus every person deserves to see themselves represented on the stage. Removing a minority group completely from the script technically is a way to remove harmful stereotypes towards them, but it does more damage in its place because they are left out entirely. Please listen to Yannick, your fans, and disabled community, and bring this vital piece of representation back into the script. You and Jacob can erase as much representation from the script as you want, but we, the people of the Ride the Cyclone fandom, will always remember who Ricky is, and will fight for justice for our dear friend Ricky.
