Here are 4 more of the 49 differences between life in the United States and life in Portugal, as observed by one American, mostly. Chris is constantly making observations and keeping notes about anything and everything that stands out to him in any way, anywhere we go.
These 4 observations include:
1. Dryers are rare here.
2. Little beers.
3. Not all new cars have backup cameras.
4. There are no yellow school buses in Portugal.

Kids go to school like anywhere, by bus!😊 We just don't have dedicated busses for it. However, you can see a orange square sign with a pair of "students" in it in some busses, it means that they are dedicated to school transportation at that moment. But those "yellow American" ones, we don't have!😊 Why have dedicated if everybody can go on the same one to the same area?!!😊

Beers are smaler because we like to drink it always cold. So.. you just drink more beers. Yes kids use buses to go to school, they use common buses😅

1) Driers with tray are more expensive and more likely to have issues than the one with extraction duct. That said it's not only in Portugal, they are available anywhere in modern countries 2) 20cl beers (mimi), means you don't drink a beer that gets warm. Not only that, by ordering / drinking less, it means you can enjoy a slip of beer without getting drunk / or over le limit if driving. 3) school (yellow) buses? Come on, that's only in the US. Anywhere else, they are standard ones, depending on the hours of the day, can be either used by school children or travelling passengers.

I don't know any country apart from America that has yellow school buses but typical of Americans to think that their way would be the way of the world.
