The Palestinians could have had a state in 2000, but they would not accept it. Israel is not apartheid--the 20% the State of Israel that is Arab have rights, freedoms, all the benefits that Arabs elsewhere do NOT enjoy.

Just a few years ago, Gaza decreed that unmarried women could not travel without the permission of a male guardian. LGBTQ rights? Meanwhile in Israel, gay and lesbian Palestinians fleeing persecution in Gaza have been granted asylum.The only place ANYWHERE in the Middle East where these freedoms exist is Israel.
