What time is it in the North Pole? Time zones are in theory are separated by meridians that run from pole to pole. In theory, not in real life. Meaning that all but the weardest time zones converge at the poles. Because the North Pole is located at the very top of the Earth, it experiences constant daylight in the summer and constant darkness in the winter. As a result, the traditional concept of time based on the rotation of the Earth on its axis doesn't really apply at the North Pole. In this video, you may learn about how time is measured at the North Pole, as well as some interesting facts about life and conditions at the top of the world.
Whether you're a science enthusiast, geography buff, or just curious about the unique challenges of living at the North Pole, this video is sure to be both educational and entertaining.

The arctic regions have normal sunrises and sunsets during autumn and spring. It's only as each pole tilts towards or away from the sun that they go into 24 hours day and night. At the poles these last for about 180 days, but even there that leaves a couple of regular day cycles between the seasons around the equinoxes

if ur exactly at the north pole the sun only goes up and down through out the year lol. but yea this is true edit: its like a day on the equinox extended to 365 days pretty much lol

It’s only places in the arctic circles except for the North Pole. At the North Pole there is no fluctuation in height from one day to the other, therefore no day night cycle.

Some sundials don’t have 12 hours a day all year long. Since the sun rises and sets at a higher angle (closer to north) in summer, it will light up the marks further south on the dial at sunrise and sunset. The opposite is true in winter, so the sundial may show 14 hours in daylight in summer and 10 in winter for example.
