Thank you for this. I am 43 and had hemroids for the first time this year. I was eating a lot of white bread lately so I figured that was my problem. I've since cut out the white bread and try to get my fiber now from whole grains such as oatmeal. I also used hemroid cream for a few days and that also helped. People who never had this before don't understand how freaked out you can get especially if you see a bit of blood in the toilet. Plus the constipation was terrible also.

I found that applying a cold pack with a thin cover over it, against the piles. This may help you with the pain.

I'm 72, slender, HIGH fiber diet, exercise rigorously daily, don't drink or smoke. The first time I got them was from bicycling. I stopped bicycling for a number of years because of it. Now I'm back to bicycling again, 20-50 miles/day. Why did I get them this time? I haven't a clue. Exercise probably, doing squats with weights. Also, because of a death, I did a week of nothing but sitting. Sitting is the worst. Ask a truck driver. This vid did nothing for me. I once had them so bad that I had them surgically removed. BIG mistake. Completely changed the ability to clean myself. Whatever the cause, they suck. God gave hemorrhoids as a chastisement in the bible!!!

I know this because I have successfuly managed to treat my own very quickly following this dietary change. I really hope this helps someone. You need to eat Tubers and Root veg. Not 'FIBER' like all these videos keep saying because fiber is anything from wheat to Brocoli to oats to beans to wholegrain rice . Examples of What you should be eating : Sweet Potato, Yam, Cassava, Carrots, Beetroot, Parsnip etc.
