Wish comparison videos would play more realistic music like hip hop and r&b big tracks and not some outlandish never heard of stuff. Not that it's bad. Just would like to hear some more mainstream stuff. As long as you don't overplay em you can't get hit with charges from playing them too much

I think the Cerwin adds more detail and overall sound quality. DS18 is just loud and clean.

Aye I love your speaker battle/comparison videos. If you don't have anything planned sometime you should do comparisons across the same brand. I like to see how speakers of different brand but same goal in build stack against each other but I'd like to see how choosing the more expensive edition for a brand/purchasing upper level equipment sounds compared to the cheaper lines. Is it really worth it that often?

That CV is the truth...I added 2 of them to my bike on a 2000 watt am and those things are crazy loud. Completely drowned out the four 5.25 speakers I have in the fairing. I had 8" subs at first but didn't like the way they sound but these CV got the sound I was looking for. Thanks again for the video!

Audio tech got 500 crossover that kick ass too and they also got a 600 crossover the CX2 and cx3 and it also got CX one 300 watts

To me the CV sounded better. I like the fuller voice and punch it has over rhe DS18. The DS18 is just a loud but sounded duller. With that, couldn’t tell if it was the speakers or the tweeters, but both weren’t extremely clear at higher volumes. But the CV still sounded better as a whole.

Honestly the cerwin have a more complete overall sound and a nice midbass. The ds18 have a more high mid range. So the cerwin all the way

Mike have you heard of the Earthquake Sound car Audio coaxial speakers? I've been looking everywhere and can't find any reviews on them , I'm not talking about the subwoofers , Sonic Electronic sells them and they also have a 5 Year Warranty, but I don't know what they Sound like , can you make a video please thanks in advance.

Very simular sound, but me( personaly ) liked the Cerwin sound better. DS was minimaly loader.. I gues its what kind of music u like.. and price.. i gave 9/10 to Cerwin & 8.5/10 to DS

Where is the mic above or in front of you? Why not run frequency response, do some technical measurements? The tweeter is to loud, balance is shifted.

But the car went Vega sound better with the Tweeter because it gives that lighter sound with the Tweeter and that's like the lower sound on the speaker

I’ve been searching for a replacement for the 8” factory sub in my Infiniti. The bass coming from my trunk drowns out the mids and vocals in the cabin.

@@LIFEINSPEED I ultimately went with dual 8” Kappas. Amazon had a sale, 2 for $189. Learned a lot from your channel, bought some tools and wire and got busy. The custom box set me back a few hundred, but the knowledge gained will save me thousands in the future. Thanks!

I think the Cerwin Vega would be easier to work regarding getting a tweeter so sound good off axis. The DS18 is propably best for long distance throw and the Cerwin for better nearfield off axis like in a car. The interference patterns from the high treble from the DS18 and a tweeter is a major issue off axis.
