I definitely did the Celebrations trick of obtaining a full set of every card before migration then bought 400 codes. I've made multiple decks and still sit on about 240k credits.

Absolute same. And you can buy celebrations packs in the game that don't count towards your 400 redeem limit.

Really entertaining video! Ty! I was coming back to the tcg after over a year and went to live straight before even checking my Ptcgo... Yes I know... Kinda bad. Now I have like 4600 gems (so I got at least 50 packs at my old account). Is it still worth it to invest them as u said in the video? Ty

Thanks for the video Donald. I've been avoiding making a Live account even though I know I'm losing cards because of it (mostly terrified of accidentally migrating). But I think the system is brutal too. People talk about how they prefer Live because they can make decks easier than on PTCGO, but I think that is very wrong unless you only ever want to play 1 or 2 decks per 3 months. Only being able to craft 1 vmax per 21 days seems awful. How would people like you, who love to play a huge variety of decks, ever be able to do so on Live under the current system? It just doesn't seem possible. Imagine you came back after 2 years, but on Live, and you didn't have your unlimited credits and you were out of old dust. Wouldn't you barely be able to keep up and/or not be able to play a large variety? Celebrations won't last forever, it was an oversight. I don't think there is any way it will stay forever.

Hello, thank you very much for the info, but is there a difference between shadow and ice? I think I have a little more cards from ice (mostly because of the inteleon) but I don't know if it's significant or even so it's better to only buy shadow

I would have to add up the card values manually end credits but I don't think there's a big difference

I wasn't clear in the video. 60 Crystals a day is 1260 crystals every 21 days, enough to buy Shadow Cal

I personally think you should save the Crystals for the Battle Pass every season, so Celebrations is probably the best way to create Credit wealth instantly; whether you're migrating an account or a brand new player. Which means you can craft whichever cards you want! The Celebrations set itself also has a lot of great cards already, like the ever-useful Professor's Research (Oak Version) in both regular and full art versions. It also has other Standard played cards like: Flying Pikachu V + VMAX, Mew (Mystery Tail) - A Turbo Engine staple, in both RA and FA, and Yveltal (Cry of Destruction) - A great Control card. Plus some great cards for when we finally get the Extended format like Tapu Lele GX!

You gain all the crystals back from the battle pass, so its a must buy if you play all season and does not factor into your daily qouta. Celebrations does not bring you good returns on credits unless you spend money on it.

I play PTCGO from Japan. I had no problems downloading it, and have been playing for around 7 years. PTCGO live wont let me download it, and Im guessing I need a VPN to play. Does anyone know if its safe to migrate over to live with the same account? I have ALOT of cards and put a lot of effort and money into that account so I am kind of nervous about it.

don't migrate now, you can try live with same account but without migrating. if you like ptcg live you can migrate later and your progression still there. many player do this, so they can get free lugia deck in ptcg live, but still able to play event or trading in ptcgo.
