Another definitely helpful tip: Always stand right on the edge when Ridley is recovering horizontally to dissuade him from using side b. Your presence right on the edge will threaten them from using side b to recover to ledge. There is no reason any Ridley would EVER want to attempt side b with the opponent right there…

Nothing will beat the day I made my friend rage quit from this move. We play on battlefield a lot, and this was one of those moments, the battle starts, I jump forward and use this move. Because I wasn't touching the ground I flew off, and grabbed him. I took him down, but didn't SD cause Ridley has decent recovery, so not even 5 seconds in he was down a stock. I didn't even know I could do that, but I have a hard time laughing harder then that.

On competitive stages you can mash out of side b but its much harder but you can do it if Ridley is higher percent or you lower
