My parents were not supportive...when I got my dream job when I had just graduated from college, my parents threw out all the correspondence from the new company and never told me. I finally figured it out years later and they admitted that they wanted me to stay home with them. So they died alone in a nursing home...I never forgave them.

Yes, this is what a lot of people are talking about, some parents are narcissistics in the world, they never even cared about their children in the first place, all they ever do is think about themselves only. I noticed this last year in 2022. And now I’m learning more information about it in 2023 of this year.

I’m sorry for all the abuse you suffered.😢 No child should have to endure that trauma. If you are still in the house, please tell a teacher or go to the police and tell them what is going on. They can help you move to a safe environment. Don’t worry about your mom and dad getting in trouble. It’s not your fault that they didn’t take care of you properly and and the court can deal with their issues.

Well, my Dad died from a car accident before I was born my Mom is scared of the world, she barley cares about stuff. Having a Absent Father affects the family, because without Fathers your life will be less fun, because The Mothers never even cared about anything from the beginning, because their Toxic Mothers in this world. So many mothers have destroyed their daughters in the past, note sons suffered much too, but worst. They have DMDD, ODD, Antisocial, Borderline, Histrionic, Narcissistic, Psychopathy, Sociopathy, and other mental disorder that are behaving like this. This can cause children to hate them, because children have dealt with child abuse, neglect, abandonment, bullying, trauma, and other traumatic events in the past, that have Autism, ADHD, Anxiety, Depression, PTSD, C-PTSD, Schizophrenia, RAD, and other disorder that people have diagnosed in the past. Like Paranoia.

@KingofKings021
@KingofKings021 7 ай бұрын
Do you know a thing about the world. Everyone is going to make independent choices in life when you are around. Life isn’t just let me teach you how to swim methods. When your child makes a mistake, guess who the number one person they’re going to seek out? That person needs to make sure that person feels at home, cuz being uncomfortable and having to change for the better is not a great way for anybody to grow and be better. That’s a sad life that can turn around, but nothing with love. Cuz I got kicked out when I was 13, got beat by my dad all the time. My mom and dad are just drug addicts and alcoholics. I’m 23 now and guess what? I don’t get to call my mom or dad for nothing. It’s nothing to be proud of, if I cry. I cry alone all the time and have to figure it out with the many mistakes my emotions can’t fix. I’m human, not a Superman.

BEST TRADING ADVICE AND RECOMMENDATION FOR YOU Greetings I’m from NY, i accumulated a lot of losses from trying to trade alone to buying bad signals and it's never advisable to enter the market without basic knowledge because it's quite complex as a beginner and you ought to understand the market trends and different algorithm. Many people have made wrong investment and trading without getting the proper knowledge of what the stock market/ forex trading is, some have lost billions of dollars in the stock market and some are still loosing due to bad investment advice. I never believed l'll make up-to $18,000 in just 1 week from trading with Mr Hercules he guided me for free with his strategy and he guides me with the exact time frame to trade and now I just received my first withdrawals $18k in my bank account today I'm very happy I recommend you contact him now he is very honest and trustworthy he will guide you to make consistent profit. I believe the key word was Respectfully. Being good and being supportive are two different things in that if they’re good parents but don’t support you in your dreams or aspirations, just be respectful loving and continue to honor them but definitely follow your dreams. I can say that from the time I turn 18 I did everything opposite of what my parents told me and even though I may have struggled, I enjoyed everything I did. I was a US Marine for 8 years (my dad wanted me to go in the Air Force). I got married young (parents wanted me to wait till my 30’s) After the military I chose to go to barber/hairstylist school (parents wanted me to get a government job). I’m now retired but I enjoyed everything I did and through it all I always honored my parents and always respectfully disagreed with them and did what I thought was best for me.

Coming from an Asian family, our parents expect us children to be exactly like them, hard working, respectful, honest, etc. and I totally understand why. But that leaves us pretending to be our parents. I once joined basketball at school, I played one game till my parents found out taking me off the team. I was supposed to be going to school to be a doctor not a basketball player. Since then the future plans I made for myself disappeared and ended up rebelling, dropping outta school Togo work at a factory. My experience really messed up my head...my parents only supported me when I was doing what THEY wanted me to do. Since I’m the oldest and first gen here in America, I taught all my siblings not to do what I did instead go out and do what they got planned for their future. My parents are old and retired, they now understand and support our decisions. Just wish they understood earlier, maybe things would turn out better. I still love them till this day tho.

If youre unsupported but youre still living in your parent's house, that's easy. The hardest part is when you have a child already and they dont support you at all.

That’s very true my parents won’t think I can do something then when I do it they’re so happy. It’s not that they don’t want you to do it they just don’t want you to fail and they don’t want to let go

true as it gets- if I had listened- I would be way behind in my eyes- let alone eating a super shit if I had listened....best thing anyone who is worried about others suffering can do is worry about themselves- this way they can slowly knock out obstacle after obstacle until one cannot easily be blown over with the slightest wind...by doing this you show others/ and your self another " possible " way to success- in return you will be able to help everyone you choose- listen to your heart- don't do bad on others and little by little your life will start to form in front of your eyes.

I just wanted to come to this video because I'm so mad at my parents right now cause my mom asked me if I wanted to go to town or not, I needed time to think because I I wanted to go for what I needed but then my lazy little brother doesn't like going out cause he prefers to stay home then going out so I had a tough time thinking, then I slightly said "I'll stay," and then right when I began saying it she walked away. Then she was telling my dad how I didn't answer he and when I told my dad I told my mom wanted to stay, she was then telling him I never said that and they started yelling at me🙄💔😤

Not all parents love their children and do see their kids as an extension of themselves instead of seeing their children as individuals with their own unique potential. Some parents have kids because they want someone to depend on them, make them feel more superior than they actually are, and push someone around who is younger than them. There's a lot of parents with narcissistic traits or disorders unfortunately.

Parents also do not listen to their children too. So the children are using what they were taught through their Parents behavior and actions. Don't hate the player, hate the game lol

I really wanna join the Air Force but my mother and most of my family all don’t want me to. They did almost everything they could to keep me from it. Everything from talking to me for hours about how “I’m better than that” and even withholding things like my social security card and birth certificate so I couldn’t join. But alas, here I am, 19 years old, and a senior in high school. I’m going to sign the papers tomorrow and I have everything I need to do it.

Every dream I've ever had, everything I've ever wanted to be from the age of 10 to current day, from being a solder in the military, a mechanic, a dancer, a singer, an animator, a nurse, a midwife, a missionary, a baker, and even a stay at home mom, my dad has shot down every single one of those dreams. I told him, a stay at home dad, i wanted to be a stay at home mom, and he LAUGHED in my FACE. I dont know what to do. I didnt want to tell him about wanting to be a missionary because I knew he might woukd say no, but i figured since it was about God, he might just be proud of me, but no. Nothing i do ever seems to please him. The only thing that would make him happy is me working in corporate america or as an engineer. Ive been shot down so many times that i dont even know what i want to do anymore. I dont know who I am. I dont know. I just dont know anymore.

My mother pretends to be supportive but clearly she is bad at it. She thinks that I don't stand a chance to be successful at all (there are many facts as to why my self esteem sucks) while dad is still buying us milk. Don't let me mention on people who are called "friends" I made this comment for people with same issue to know that there are I believe unfortunately many that goes through same problems (cyber bullying sucks too)🦋☺️

I started taking cold showers everyday like 3 months ago. I saw an article at the internet that some people sleep better with cold showers but some people sleep better with warm showers. I tried taking warm showers for 3 days and I slept better. So now I knew that I had too take warm showers from now on before sleep but I didnt want too lose the benefits of cold showers so I wanted too start a new morning routine where I take a cold shower every morning before school and warm shower before sleep but my parents Just simply didnt LET me do it because "its cold in the morning outside and with the shower u will have better chances catching a cold" even tho its not true and now im clueless. Anyone has advice for me?

Long story ahead 😊 Hello there , I am already 16 , people say me it's too late and India doesnt have that infrastructure but these things don't affect me. I want to become a footballer and i had been convincing my parents since a very long time . Yesterday , it was the last time i talked about football with my parents and i won't talk about it anymore to them about it because my mum said that if i pursue football as a career she would either k₹ll herself or she would k₹ll me . She says you could do suicide . I don't know why this happened yesterday . Literally , nobody is supporting . I was nevercaffected by somebody's opinions about me but they are my parents . Today , i took the decision that i would never play football in my life and i smashed away football out of my house 😢😢 I Quit ..... I wanted to play for India...... If somebody has a solution please let me know ❤😢

parents: go to college pick any course u want well support you, but if you dont, then we wont give u free food and money. daughter: fine ill be just tiktoker, or ill make an onlyfans acc, its easier to make money there anyway.

Well its logical that they want their kids to go in a path that guarantees their dignity by providing stable income, rather than being a tiktoker which is very unstable and un-guaranteed to provide good income... some people after finishing highschool (if they even do) end up being lazy and living off of their parents so its important that parents show that there is a line and limit to that so that they force their kid to start seriously thinking about their future.
