I hate losing Hp for no reason and I hate having to give up good positions because of poor team plays. I hate running away and I really hate getting hit while running away. Some days, you can get 4-5 games in a row with such teams. It's hard to keep a good mood and continue playing longer.

"When Your Team Is Terrible" Over 2 minutes in, it's 0-1. Lately (since 9.18) I see more and more games being like 1-6 at that point in game and lasting 5 minutes total.

I know some folks might not care for Lemming's analysis in his context of how if affects your WN8 score. Some folks say they don't care about WN8, but the same skills he is describing and using are the ones that help you keep your gun in the fight, read OPFOR disposition, displace and re-engage, drain the OPFOR HP, and swing matches to your favor - turn potential losses into wins. I used to utterly refuse to retreat and abandon teammates, and that just got me killed because I shared in other green players stupidity - plain & simple. At a minimum - WN8 and WR aside, since I do not have every tank in the game, these strategies allow me to continue to earn the maximum possible credits and XP (even in a loss) to get the next tank I desire. Also not dying with virtually no DMG is a huge plus. If you want my tank, I am going to do my best to make you pay as high a price as possible for it. Great video.

Your best advice is also the hardest to follow: do not get angry in a situation like that. Some games you can see right from the start that it's all going down the drains: heavies camping or going the wrong way, lights and mediums hanging back to snipe instead of spot and flank...........if I see that I'm already pissed off. . I never rage quit, but I really hate games like that.

I'm learning so much from your videos especially to stay calm in these scenarios you show in the video. Before i would rage that my team was camping and we would Lemming, now i look for fall back positions and analyse whether we are going to win or not. Doing this is definitely improving my game (still a long way to go yet) :P

I recently had a match on fiery sailent where half my team went hill (and died, trading a tank for an enemy tank) and the other half just went to k3 to start the founding of Tent City. What I did was to gently probe from mid at f3-4 for spots in mid and at the 1-2 line in an Oni. Was that the right move? Honestly, when it comes to driving a heavy tank and I find myself on this map I'm lost as to what I should be doing. I know I shouldn't push alone, but at the same time I don't want to sit in the back and be killed by tanks no one is spotting.

My skill level has peaked, and with countless KZfaq vids it isn't helping. But watching this video I learned a lot! Thanks,awesome vid!

Playing light tanks has taught me a lot about when it's time to fall back and when it is time to push. Still looking for that medium tank that fits me. Have yet to really find a good front line medium or heavy I really enjoy.

Hi, LR, it is not the first time for me to watch your videos, all of them are great. I usually play wot in Asia server, sometimes there are bad games and teammates. High tiers don't know what there should do and where they should go, sometimes half of teammates die at the very beginning of the game. So when I am in this situation, I don't play aggressive and switch the line if I cannot win and stay back to give fire support. As medium tank, it is important to read the situation and find opportunity to get damages, aggressiveness depends on the situation. As a good TD player, do not keep yourself spotted in a good game, and keep yourself the last one to be spotted in a really bad game

On being lit: It's 5 to 10sec RNG. Plus can be additional 2 sec. is a spoter hase skill for DESIGNATED TARGET So to be on 100%, its 12sec, or as a range from 5 - 12sec

I usually fall back when my team losses a flank,and then just get into a bush,fire on the enemy then get into another bush which is even closer to our base and then fire on them.I found this to be quite effective and although most of the times I die atleast I do a lot of damage

You can talk about the situation sometimes but that very rare that they obey what to do....often they go other side when I tell them and when I dont tell to go they go that way I tell em ...

Hey LR, how I am supposed to play when I am bottom tier? I can't force attacks, I can't be aggressive, because I don't have HP and DPM to do so. And when I am not leading attack, I just win with 1000DMG or less. When I try to somehow lead the attack I get myself killed in most cases...

Bruh, the game i just played, me and my whole team had the enemy completely surrounded, and our 3 arty tanks were hammering them with shells but because my other teammates rushed in too far and most of them died. i was in a kv-1 and i was basically alone against the whole enemy team since my arty was busy shelling them. i of course got broadsided to hell and it was just the arty tanks. i dont blame them since all of the frontline tanks died. the arty stood no chance against the enemy and they got stomped.

Something that i noticed watching this is that when you shoot someone the bullet hits its target instantly, while my bullets take really long to reach their targets. Does it have something to do with latency or weak cannons?

the chance of losing when having toptier td's is a lot bigger. They really have a bad influence on the battles, since they make it passive and loads of times simply wait for the flank to fall and then farm damage. So especially tier 10 clickers are trash, because of the 3 5 7 mm. Loads of times I get 2 td's + 1 arty and already know the environment will be affected in a very bad way because of them being in the match.

i'm always struggling to find good farming spots on maps when my team gets completely obliterated 3 minutes in.

I think your T54 lt had been weak on the West side and one of the reasons the TDs camped is because they had insufficient support - low spotting to show them the risk of being caught out front and low medium cover if they were. I think that when the 113 took his push position behind the rock, and the passive West side became critical, another play that might have worked would have been to go tease and push the West - act as spotter / hitter moving fast and into cover continuously. This might have led to a push from your TDs and given some space to your side. By pushing the East side by yourself, encouraging the yolo, I think you triggered the impending avalanche 2 minutes sooner, leaving less time for the West to work. (And the odds of your getting the 113 down were low weren't they? could it have worked?) So I would have silently switched the play to the West side as soon as that 113 took his position, leaving them to guess for as long as possible. If the West could be spotted and hit it might just be engaged in time to get something more.

I have read somewhere that the unspotting is from 5-10 secs and is not same for the enemy that spotted you, hoping its not true

When you have multiple top tier tds, my instinct would be to emphasize spotting stuff in their range. So in this game, playing the left. How would that have padded out? I guess here the 9 line would have collapsed in 2 minutes then whole team in a cross fire?

It could be that the TDs on your team camped because the (cough, cough) "SCOUT" on your team was anything BUT. Spotted nothing at all when hiding at your base, til he got bored and suiscouted. Not only that, but I've found that camping Mediums will never flank anything. Just an observation made. Why should TD's whose job is to kill enemy tanks don't because maybe, just maybe, there were NONE lit by the base camping "scout" hiding in the rear? No spot, no shot. Now of all the tanks on the 'team', I wonder which one is supposed to actually go out and lite the enemy? Certainly not the poor little T54 lwt.

"They played aggressively", but the key here is they didn't expose themselves while being aggressive. Yolo means being aggressive without taking cover when necessary, and without scouts doing their job. I hate campers, but nothing is worse than a yolo team. "Oh there's 5 tanks pointing their guns well that means I rush around the corner". "We lost some ammo but at least it didn't explo"(kaplow)"get out this vehicles had it". Then the player complains about the team's performance.

I don't know how others play at my skill level but I'm only at 1500 Wn8, alltough my sessions are what ever between 2500-3800 depending quite a lot of what tanks I'm grinding atm. Like you can't do especially well in a tank like Churchill VII just because its slow as fuck and has no alpha, even the armor is mediocre and its fucking useless against tier 8 tanks. But I always leave and farm if things are going sideways, ofc If I'm drving a fast tank, can't do that shit with a slow slug. Like you said theres no point of dying with others if you can avoid it. That helps nobody, and all the awesome 1 v 7 games and shit didn't happen by staying on the losing flank, tells a lot.

You guys should start playing TDs so you can understand their strengths and weaknesses and then formulate a prediction of how a game will go when there are 7 on each side. When you have 1) no turret 2) no armor 3) "siege mode" in the case of the Strv you simply cannot be aggressive peaking laterally around rocks as lemmingrush loves to do. These kinds of games are like an aerial dogfight in that the battle is not won, it is lost by whomever gets impatient first and plays into the opponent's hands. That being said you can still be aggressive in a turretless tissue paper tank but only in a strategic, "macro-aggressive" way. That is to say you progressively take up better and closer firing positions with the support of your team, shrinking the playing field of your enemies until eventually they are so bottled up and suppressed they die one by one on their reloads

Oh, I watched the video, don't worry. It is about recognising situations. If you know a flank will fall, there is no reason to stay there. And what is the net worth of a full HP T32 in a tier 10 game? No enemie was going to stop for him. All allies that could have been of use to hold that flank were camping their socks of at the other end of the map, where very little happened. By going to that spot at the end, he provided spots for his remaining team mates as well as being able to do damage himself. In what way is that worse then dying with his team on a flank that was never going to be won? Then I ask myself if you recognise a situation when you are in the middle of it? Obviously not. There is nothing noble about dying useless when you know you can be useful somewhere else. And before you ask, I am a only a yellow player, but at least I recognise what is a smart thing to do in such situations or not. What I hate is unicums that pick a spot at the edge of the map when the game starts and just sit there sniping. And you cannot lemming of doing that. If you say all unicums are the same, then you skipped the first minutes of the video.

I am certainly not a good player, I consider myself to be solidly in the "average" bracket witch I am fine with, but about 70% of my losses are games where I come in top 3 in xp/damage (as a slow reload player I tend to not get above 3 kills but that is what it is). And yeah, when your team is just determined to lose there is not a lot you can do. I get really concerned whenever I see my team is TD heavy on a very campable map with especially if there is no atry to assist the inevitably weak flanks.

IS3 was on right flank which is mistake in that map in most cases... This game is getting annoying as hell for veteran players to get by useless usually 7-10 players as teammates and that is simple killing game while WG milking money from Premium time because even if your number one by XP if your team sucks like crazy which is in most cases your gonna start losing silver per XP... even when in TOP 3 by XP!

What pisses me off most about this game is the lack of a real skilled based MM. They have a template already in the form of a PR. I mean whats the point of having PR if you can't incorporate into the MM? Why should I be teamed with a bunch of idiots at T10 with a 3k PR? It would be real easy on paper 1-3.9k, 4-7.9k, 8-11k+, just wishful thinking I guess.

Sometimes teams like this one just make me log off. Main subject of your videos is education and I respect that but game is just ruined with tone of bots, kids below 7 years old etc and it is pain for one tank and one player to cary that burden. My WR droping drasticly in last 100-200 battles and I started to preform bad as useless teams just spams me. No way to win. I think that WG should do something about battle quality by fixing mm based on wn8. 7/10 battles lasts 5 mins or less
