Are these New Guinea impatiens? My stems and leaves are green. Would it work the same with all types of impatiens?

Hi there! It's actually ok if you have planted them already because they hopefully are getting situated in their new soil and will be stronger and recover faster when you make your cuts or pinches on the leggy stems. You can go ahead and remove the leggy stems now. Give them some fertilizer afterwards so they can start growing those new, more compact stems and more flowers for you. 😉😊

Hi Mindy! Sorry we are just seeing your question. It's ok if you already planted them. Go ahead and pinch or prune them back like we show in our quick video. Make sure after that you give them some general fertilizer, like a 5-5-5 or 10-10-10. Could be liquid or time release. Hope that helps and your impatiens are doing well over this summer! 😀☺️
