What to do with Undesirablel Gelli Prints

While going through my scrap papers I decided to see if any of them could be improved. Most of these were brayer-offs, failed gelli prints, and so on. With just a little work you can improve them quite a bit, and it can be a springboard into another idea for a larger piece. Hope you enjoy the video!

I have a tub of scraps and you have inspired me to quit procrastinating going through them-and with my recent iPad Pro purchase I’ve been playing around with procreate-time to introduce the two! Love your work! TFS❤

Thank you so much! I hope to introduce iPad art in my videos-I used to teach iPad art classes until 2020, when I got sick. Right now all I want to do is KZfaq, which has been a lot of fun so far!

I have a small studio, so after a couple projects I have to clean! Also, I try to keep everything in frame, so that brings all the stuff forward!

I’ve been thinking of doing something like this too. I recently went through all my painted papers and found all the “rejects” and have a special file for them so I can reach in and grab some once in awhile to work on. One thing I like the look of is when I’m trimming tissue paper, I like to flip it over to the back side and use water on a paint brush to outline the shape I want. It tears so easily and when it’s glued down the edges feather into the background perfectly. Your videos are inspiring me to get back into doing digitals again - so much fun to create mono print “editions”. Thanks for all your videos ❤😊

Thank you! I create them on the iPad, sometimes drawing and sometimes altering photos.

Thank you! These are images I made by drawing on the iPad. I use a company called Ready Stamps to make my designs. I don’t have anyone making them for sale anywhere though.
