Welcome! Ya know, I’m in the same boat as you. No PS5 (yet) and I mainly use a Mac. I have a PC that I use primarily for game capture and some light gaming sessions. I don’t think it’ll be able to handle this game, either! - Danny

​@@TheFamicast Konami may get a bad rep nowadays but thank heavens for them doing tech wizardry with Pro Spirits, having a PS3 game run as good as it does on a PSP. Atleast I can still enjoy the 2014 PSP version and emulate it decently on an android TV natively because no way my broke ass is forking out for a PS5.

you can do that in older power pros games jp. idk why did they change it but since ps3 game you can only play as one team in power pros and prospi. At least they add ability to switch team in newer power pros so their a high chance you will be able to switch team in prospi at the end of each season. if they ported over feature from power pros, you can also exported every team roster at the end of the season too. Other feature such as unlimited (30 in prospi 21/19) years and regen player could also be added to this prospi pennant.

You can buy it as an import and it will play on North American PS5’s with no issue

Nothing as of right now as I type this about a release date. It could literally drop any day which is kind of annoying, but I think Konami is trying to give Power Pros some time in the sun, too. My guess is- seeing as the new Power Pros is releasing on July 18, this will probably come out in August or early September. Making an account for the Japanese PSN seems easy enough. At this point, I wouldn't expect the game to come to the Switch, BUT, I think there is a real possibility that it might come to its successor next year. It’s quite a bit lower than consoles in terms of sales but it’s been growing quite a bit here in the last few years. I totally agree about the PS5 in terms of potential sales for this game, too, which is why I think Konami will be keen to put this on the Switch successor. - Danny

It’s my understanding that, while growing, the high end PC gaming market in JP is quite small. I can’t see a PC version selling better than PS5, even though PS5 has low sales as well.

That is the reason why some jp fans said this is a brave move from konami. They probably hope its card collecting mode with microtransaction ] and the phone game (prospiA) can bail this game out while waiting for the switch 2. (The spec for this game is very high so i don't think pc version will sell better than ps5). i hope they get 2026 version running on the switch 2 or prospi console will be a big loss for konami :{

Konami was disappointed with sales of the Switch version , Pro Yakyuu Spirits 2021 was a failure on Switch. as It sold very little. Pro Yakyuu Spirits 2019 sold better on PS4 and had only a 3rd of consoles sold that Switch does in Japan. PYS has always been a PlayStation series and that is the console it belongs on and the console it sells best on.

@@mitchmurray2260 why were they disappointed lol? switch version is just a ported of ps3 with little effort while ps4 version is have the benefit of the newer version and in the end the sales number was not that big different. pawapuro 2022 have better sale on switch than both pp 2022 and pys 19 combined. Do you think prospi 2024 can beat both dragon dogma and rise of ronin with current ps5 userbase. Pawapuro 2022 on switch alone has bigger sale number than both of these ps5 titles. That is the reality and even jp fas understand that konami won't make enough profit hence why there are microtransaction which they don't need in pawapuro due to the switch carrying the sales number. Jp fans don't care much about graphic which lead to inferior versions always have way better sales number than superior ps4/ps5 version. You can check weekly famitsu sales number to understand the current situation. Edit: i visit prospi/power pros 5 chan regularly as i can read a little bit of japanese:) and i used to be sony fanboy until they killed the vita and left the jp market for nintendo.
