Be a pet parent or parents of human babies irrespective of gender both the parents should be ready and accepting first to help their children independently to pass through every phase of life. So many videos and surveys I find which says there are men who doesn't even know that these 5days even exists in their wives' or daughters' lives. I feel ashamed to know that. I don't really blame them, I blame their partners that they too consider that they are born to bleed in silence. But I also feel happy that situation is changing. I so admire the true spirit you guys have always shown for being super loving and caring pet parents. You both are the sweetest and the most amazing people I have come across on the Internet. But, I just wanted to know that aren't you making your fur babies wear doggy diapers when they are having their heat cycle? A diaper will keep your house and furnishings cleaner while your baby is in heat, and also prevent the constant licking that she might engage in.

You both are the best parents Flurry and Kiara could have. I also have a female Shitzu who is one and half years old...there is absolutely no problem when she in heat... My vet has recommended not to spay her till she is little older.

Again Nice vlog...mera chunu v female hai....7th august ko uski 1st birthday hai....wo v jab 1st time heat pe thi humne v usko as usual normal hi rehne diya tha....thoda bahat hum dono ne(me n my hubby) adjust kia tha....bed or sofa par alag chadar bicha diya tha....tab v wo hamare sath hi soti thi...me khud saaf karti thi stain...kyuki wo hamari beti hi hai....flurry and kiara ki tarah chunu ko v kavi humne dog treat nhi karti.....apne thik kaha dog samajne se sayad kuch alag lagega par family samjoge to kuch alag nhi lagega.....hats off to u di....lov u

Hi ,This is really a good vlog with very useful information. Even I love my Sparky like my child. He became 1 yrs old on 26th July, but now I can see some changes in his behabviour . He becomes very arrogant if any unknown person comes at our home or ring the bell, this create prob with our neighbour as we are stayoing in an appartment. Can you suggest how to handle this things.

Hi dear. Even male puppies go through the hormonal changes, they don't bleed, but they need to overcome their heat cycle cravings. If not met there is a chance they become aggressive, I would suggest pls consult a vet. In case he is not neutered you can think about it 😊

@@MommyNFlurryTale We consultant Vet and he suggest if we dont get any female to breed then can go for operation, otherwise in long run his health might get effected. But getting a female Shih Tzu is also difficult.

I too hv a female shih tzu, she runs around eveywer wen shes on heat,v dnt restrict her in any manner, evn I put a bedsheet on sofas,n my girl adjusts more than v humans can evn imagine, wenevr sum.guests come over wen shes on heat I put on a diaper n wen guests leave I remove it . Diapers can make them uncomfortable probably, since during these 3weeks they keep cleaning themselves up. So would suggest not to put diapers if not necessary. They bleed very little so keeping your home linens or furnitures covered with washable clothes would do, just as I have shared in the video. Keep their access free just as any other normal days

we actually got 4 years lhasa bcoz my relatives cant able take care of her. but she got so much attached in just 4 months. we dont have much idea about pets.she got her heat we left her like u people did and cover sofa all with bedsheet but i felt she bleeding little more on floor and all blood strains are there so we brought pad a diaper set so that she stay good and move happily all over the house. she need more love now. and she getting her urine alot these days. as she is feeling bad couldn't eat properly our vet suggested her to give her glucose water it really help us. hope she will stop her bleeding soon 🙂

3weeks in every 6months that's what the normal frequency of their heat cycle. Depending on the breed and size amount of bleeding might vary. Since you are already taking good care no need to worry. Be with her and makes her feel comfortable, all the best. Love for the baby

I have bought a shih tzu . She is 65 days. They are not very loving dogs if you have children (they are very self centered dogs). They are very bad eaters. Need to spend lot of time to coax them to eat. Worst is they need lot of grooming everyday. So if you can afford a dedicated servant to take care of your dog or you or your family member can devote so much time...don't go for shih tzu. Their only advantage....they are just too cute to look.

Diaper can be very uncomfortable if used 24hrs during heat cycle, since the cycle stays for 3 prolonged weeks

In normal circumstances yes we do. But for a shorter duration and a shorter distance than usual. And we try to make her walk or play mostly indoor to keep her away from any unwanted infection. Now due to covid we ourselves are not going out. So babies too are deprived of their daily walk
