Tank looks amazing. Those branches really make the tank. Would love to see an update on all of your tanks.

Very nice Video. I have at this Moment ca. 80 3 month old discus. I feed them 6-7 times a day with artemia, beefheart/shellfish mix and dried bloodworms and Tubifex. They grow well.

That's great. My new discus doesn't eat dry food. I tried many different types of costly food items specially designed for discus fishes. However, they only want like blood worms.

Thanks for the info. This is the first video i’m checking out from your channel but i won’t be watching it often. I was happily lisening to your advice while putting the dishes away until i heard you say b*stard a few times. Bad language is quite unnecessary for fish related information and my 2 young kids were around.

Woody's Discus (FB) Great video !!! Beef heart is FANTASTIC for small fish (only) . It will foul the water unless you buy the freeze dried black worms and beef heart, or have a B/B tank. I use to make my food 38 years ago, but today there is no reason!!! You have NLS, Hikari, and the best of the best North Fin krill gold (pro). 85% antarctic krill meal, wheat flour, kelp, spirulina, vitiaman a etc. Oh ya a bit of garlic. My Discus love it ! As Discus go more by smell than color a bit of garlic never hurt !! BUT it is RED !!! Woody

By the way, there is no lawn in the United States that compels manufactures in listing food ingredients for pets according to the highest to the lowest like in human foods. therefore in pet products they can take the lowest ingredient and make it first. For example: if fish meal is the least ingredient in fish food, they can list it first as if that then becomes the main ingredient.

+Kevin Novak thanks for letting me know ! It’s so deceitful ! I think pets deserve the same laws as human food standards

+AquaZone Montreal Izabella they do sell it in stores here but it's low quality. Homemade would be best but I buy it from the breeder I bought my fish from.

I keep my discus with rummynose tetra and the tetras always get most of the food first and a little left for the disc, I need to feed many to make sure the disc get enough food but then those tetra will get bloated

You should order your freeze dried blackworms from aquaticsuppliers.com his name is Al and he is the US import agent for Australian Blackworms which are the best for discus. He also carries sinking pellets. I've been feeding them to my discus for years and even the pickiest discus will go nuts for them.
